Extreme stress testing

The flowers that didnt bloom are now dead (I'm assuming they are or dormant maybe). Still has plenty of green leaves. I think it looks pathetic because I havent feed it for a while aside from the occasional shower(rain). I did pruned some branches that are dead but for the most part the plant is still alive.
That’s awesome. Pics? Also, what strain is the male?

25F burned buds, etc, but 16F killed everything I had out. That was two years ago this month. Wasn't as cold last winter, but with the hurricane, I did very little in the way of a spring crop.

Yeah I don't like anything below 28F outside. Really considering upping that to 29, got burned buds at 28 last year.
I mostly grow for seeds in the winter. Less chance of them being ripped or found by the cops.

I would say I've lost around 1/3 of all my winter growing due to cold.

What zone or general area are you in?
NW Florida. Around the I-10 corridor. We've had a couple of three white frost this week. Also a couple of days in the 70's. You don't get a ton of growth when it's that cold, but it doesn't kill them unless they just came from under lights or out of a hot house.

Interesting, I didn’t know it got that cold in Florida!

This is fascinating. Boot camp for Weed Team 6!

My Dutch friend has a masters in botany, and believes in high stress training. Her stuff is amazing looking, and THC levels are as high as they get. She achieves remarkable gram to watt ratio! She says proper stress increases yield and cannabiniods. She’s not here on RIU despite my suggestion. @Silky_smooth1 on instagram She calls her grow room the torture chamber!

Oh boy! o_Oo_O THose plants are looking sick she is doing.
This bending structures. Awesome.

But i also like your approach about getting as much stress as possible to see what they can take. The only thing mising is you hitting them!! :D

They have been in my cold ass garage all winter with no fertilizer and barely any water, but are still putting on new growth. I am surprised at how tough marijuana is, and will be way less worried about this year’s crop. Last year was my first grow and I was constantly fussing over them — now realize that was totally unnecessary.

I always keep stalled out deficient stepchild plants around, for science, but wtf would you purposely introduce PM to your property?

I didn’t — my wife has a bunch of house plants and it seems to arise on it’s own inside. Outside, I assume it’s from neighbor’s gardens. It hasn’t really been that big of an issue, just a matter of management. I’ve got a strain that seems almost totally impervious to it.

I only read the first couple posts but this has got to be the stupidest thing I have ever seen.

I cant argue with that. Good luck on your stress testing LOL
I was pretty drunk and high when I conducted this stress test, but I’ve been surprised how well they’ve weathered the mistreatment.
All 3 have survived in my garage where temperatures near freezing most nights. I barely water them and never fertilize. They don’t look great but a lot healthier than they have any right to be. If anything my experiment has given me a lot more confidence about how rough I can treat my seedlings this coming spring.
This is how my battered clones look now:

So these are some pretty tough fucking plants. Best the fuck out of them yesterday and all still alive. Letting door open to garage tonight to let more air in. Hopefully at least one will be dead by tomorrow. If they all die, then the theory is disproven.
