In light of my inpending move into my fraternity house, I have decided that in order grow I am going to have to pull out all stops to conceal my stash. With a little stoner creativity, I have planned out what I hope is going to be an extremely successful investment. Due to space limitations and concealabilty, I have decided to convert an old desk into a hidden grow box by removing the drawers and building a concealed door in the side, creating a inconspicous 2.5'x2'x3' box. Borrowing several ideas from innovative members of this forum, I am going to install 4 computer fans-2 for intake and two for exhaust- in the bottom and back of the desk, with activated carbon filters to remove the odors. The light setup still remains a question but I plan to use several side and top mounted cfl's with a shelf system to rais and lower my babies. When it came to watering I wanted a system that would be self-sustaining during periods of absence
so I opted to merge several ideas and a little stealth, deciding to use a fish tank on top of my desk in which I can mix fertilizers and deliver a constant stream of aerated water to my plants. To deliver the water, I simply relied on gravity to do the work. drilling to small holes in the bottom in which I fitted a hose, creating a looped system to drip feed my babies.
I plan on growing 100% organically, creating my own soil mix using an 80/20 organic potting soil/perlite mixture, with the addition of bone meal, blood meal, epsom salts, and woodash. In order to utilize my space I am going to use LST training, and hope to have some white widow growin up soon! Photos to come as completed.
