i have a 6" TT extractor its pulls at about 540m3/hr or something like that, what intake should i buy, i am looking to keep the negative pressure so needs to be less and im not sure what is sufficient, i have 5 cheese in a 1.2 x 1.2 x 1.8m tent

Noise
also the noise of my extractor is quite bad and im not sure wether its the air running through the ducting or what? if i buy acoustic ducting will this deminish the noise enough to not be annoying? i have my extractor inside an old carbon filter sleeve inside a box, compact abit, its also hanging from ceiling to avoid vibration, thanks for any help

Beware of them TT fans about 4 days ago I went a checked my shit and my TT fan was was making a loud noise so I took it apart and found a small serclip had sliped down to the moter and recked it I ended up buying a 6" canfan much more reliable. I should of brought that in the first place....

Yo! i have 1.2x1.2x2.0 and use 6" out and 4" in. Perfect balance!

make sure to put ducting on both sides of the fans, especially on the side that air is flowing out. This will help a lot with the sound.
i have acoustiv ducting and it actually helps a lot!
best regards

the TT160 has 2 speed settings without fan controller. you can manually change it from 540m3/h to 470m3/h (just keep N in its place and move L1 to L2). this will remove about 10db.
RQC ive have had TT160 for a long time without any problems. im sad to hear what happend to you tho but that could happend with lot of different fans. could have been just bad luck.

Still for extractor fans you should always try and get one with metal fans. if not you cant or rather shouldnt use it pull air thru IE a cooltube since there is a risk that a plastic fan will melt.

Also I like havein a controller on the inlets it gives you more control over temps

indeed havin a controller is BOSS!
but i like how you manually can swap speed, its something all fans should have since its preatty damn usefull in some cases!

:)

best fan i tested is VKS200un. strong engine metal fans thermostat and controller good shit! :)

I have an 8 inch outtake and a 6 inch intake in a 1.2 x 2m x2m both fans have built in temp controll and speed controller brilliant fans it maybe a bit of overkill but hey I can just turn them down
