theres no way there was a extra seed in this soil but a root has popped out

Sometimes a plant's taproot will turn into a plant. It seems to be a genetic thing because I've had it happen a couple of times with the same strain. I just cut off its side branches so that it could make it to the canopy.

I've had where I broke a small secondary branch off the plant and it grew like a clone right in the pot. I've also had where I prune outdoors and the branches that fall to the ground root and grow like clones. Maybe that happened? If not, and there is no seed shell on the little clone your seeing, probably freak incident where somehow another seed got in there. I can't think of any other way another weed plant would be growing without a seed or branch falling into the soil.
