Experincing bud rot... would you chop early?

I'm at day 65 and everything has looked good... I have had 1 plant with rot a week or so ago and the rotting buts were cut out completely. That plant has not had any more

Today I just found my best plant had one big bud with rot in it..I removed the whole of the bud with rot .. would you chop rest of the plant now? I was hoping to leave it for 6 more days.

That first pic looks pretty bad... I wouldn't smoke that. You'll know if you have it bad once you crack open a bud and see a puff of smoke, or grey webbing like stuff in-between the buds.

Molds are dangerous because they're present before they grow enough to be noticed. Personally I would not use except as something like BHO that's been well purged.

The other one that i chopped out has been fine since. Certainly not saying your wrong. I will only know when I harvest later today and chop all the buds off the stems to dry them individually. Hopefully some salvageable buds. The rest of the room seems OK.

So how do I stop it next run? They were very well ventilated and the dehu has been on full power.

White powdery mildew is fine to eat just not to breathe. I wouldn't suggest using it for BHO as you could still inhale fungus particles and end up with a respiratory infection.

You should definitely consider not using these plants to smoke. Fungus can pass through even a 25 micron screen and will have released invisible spores all throught the grow environment. Spray the whole grow area with 3% hydrogen peroxide before the next grow and invest in humidity control to prevent this from happening again.
Edited: The plants will be fine as edibles, as long as the vegetation has not had a chance to be broken down by the fungus.

Just a spray once in a while will keep it from crashing ur grow like this next time. Bunch of stuff works, not gonna say one is better, just that a spray once a week will knock it down big time. Ill spray for PM/budrot one last time around 2nd maybe 3rd week in flower then that's it. The buds swell up and close off after that so ur fkt, gotta time that last spray well in my experience.

i usually spray all surfaces in the grow space in between crops and use a charcoal filter on the intake to prevent mold spores from entering in the first place. This process cuts down on worry and work. That and a well controlled environment in regards to temp and humidity. My goal as a grower is to do as little work as possible without sacrificing quality or quantity.

Yes you can filter it out of an extract using 0.2 micron screens on the tip of a syringe after identifying what type of mould or bacteria is present using a microscope. This requires specialized equipment and the ability to identify and distinguish between different types of fungus and clostridiums. I still do not recommend inhaling moldy cannabis or it's extracts or trying to filter it out at home.
