Hey guys, thanks for reading my post. I planted 5 ak48s seeds from nirvana on march 1st. Planted in Fox Farm Ocean on 18/6. Last time I tested ph was @ 3 weeks ago at 6.8. I bought ff Grow Big, but many posters here said that if I fertilize more than what was in ff oCean it would give these girls nute burn. I see some yellowing on the top of a few plants is that nute burn, or defieciency? I haven't given them any fertilizer yet, and can easily since I purchased it.

Also these girls are now at 14". I hear they double to triple in size during flowering. I heard that for more potent and better yield to veg at least 8 weeks. I think thats going to be HUGE so Ive decided to start flowering on April 16 at 47 days.... would a 3-4 foot plant handle a 3 gallon pot? I dont think I can or want to transplant them into a 5 gallon.

hey dont mean to be rude, but things are worsening. If someone reads along let me know if you have a better method, but I gotta make some moves - the top leafs are starting to grow brownish on one plant. She's the largest and the prettiest. I failed to mention one died a two weeks after birth; a combination I feel of strong soil and really weak genetics.

I'm going to test the soi's ph, also test the soil's nutrients. They grew to within 9-10 inches of the 400 hps light but it wasn't hot imo (put hand there). I raised the light slighly and see how it grows. They're getting bigger rapidly - they grew almost two inches since yesterday morning please advise heres the picIMAG0086.jpg

You can repot still. Into 5 gal pots. Better to use 7's. It will stall their growth a bit but you'll be better in the long run. Or you can start the forcing process when you choose and prune back after two wks of 12/12. Use Uncle Ben's topping technique to produce two to four main colas. I don't think your plant will be more potent because of length of veg time. Attribute genetics and good drying/curing practices to that.
My grow is in mostly 3's and 5's but the 5's seem to be better off for the additional living space.

you think repotting is an issue? You don't think they'll be fine in the 3 gallon? Id really rather not transplant them.... I have fox farm grow big im going to test the ph, the soil, and give it nutes, i think it might be a nute problem.... It's happening to the bigger plants on the top which im taking it as they've used up most nutrients...

No it's not an issue per say. It's just that I'm saying you CAN repot if you want. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I've repotted hundreds of times. Not just Cannabis. It's a good way to check out the root system. Look for anything that doesn't look right.
You can then decide to either up pot or not. I've even done root pruning on plants to encourage new root formation or because
there were simply too many roots for that size pot. Be fearless.
For a 3gallon I really would flip them immediately and then either cut the top off or tie it down via LST methods to make the most
Out of your 400W HPS and the 3gallon size. Because the plant is gonna streeeeeeeetcccccchhhhhhh and how are you gonna
Get light to the bottom of the canopy?
