ok well today i watered with some distilled water since my ph was a little high i dropped the ph of the water down about 6 to lower the ph. do u think dolomite lime would do the trick fast enough? i know sulfur and lime are used to raise and lower but it usually takes a considerable amount of time before the ph gets into sink. also i added "revive" advance nutrients to help with stress and fixes what def. it has..
The focus on pH is way over done in forums. Cannabis is a pH tolerant plant and anything from 5.8 to 7.8 in soil is fine when it comes to nutrition availability, and that's the real issue. A little nutrition all the time is what you want. One heavy "push" in your gonna land in "aw shit" land. :D Plants don't like to be pushed, they grow best at their own pace.

i really wanted to say something about that..because i have all sort of poted plants..5 different kinds of peppers, 7 different kinds of tomoatoes..and others i dont even ph the water..i just give them nutes once and let them go..i mean MJ is just like them in ways..but it takes taht much more effort to grow them? ...im not a noob at growing ive been around the block and all but shit doesnt make much since to me

You'll grow the best pot if you treat them like your tomatoes or peppers. IOW, use common sense and common, simple applications based on botany, not hydro sales and forum hype.

The biggest problem people have with soil is over feeding / over watering, the pot must be light but not at the stage the sides are coming away from the pot, just remember the soil already contains what the plant will get by on, way to many people fling product after product ''AT A FAST PACE'' thinking this will make the plant grow faster, people doing this could not be more wrong, as ive said before, if they were mine id be letting them dry out for about 3 days and giving them some water with just a little nuits, even a 1/4 strength would be to much, id be adding about 1ml per litre to a very thirsty plant. you would see the diffrence in about 4/5 days.
