experience needed -3 weeks old. very "leafy"

Of all the plants i have ever planted this is the very first one i ve seen looking like this. it seems like a deformed marihuana plant, yet it is growing with a lot of strength. the middle part grew in just TWO DAYS!!!
:S

it got topped. sometimes little tiny bugs will get down in there and top the seedling before it really ever gets going. i think it's kinda cool. you may need to spread the branches apart as it grows though. when they get topped this young the two branches often grow straight up into each other. if you do spread them, cross them over each other first. this will prevent you from ripping the plant down the center.

that's new to me. interesting.

your medium looks a little dry and i'd bump up the nitrogen. :)
thx for your advice! I appreciate it as usual ;-) now i have an important question, but the resolution of the camera doesnt allow me to take good close ups :(

50% of the plants have the following symptoms:
first they start having yellow dots
later, the leaf starts to be entirely yellow
and finally it starts to dry.
the odd thing is the plants keep on growing just as strong just the leaves are all f(&%$! up.
what could possibly be wrong?
hope it can be worked out

Your talking about the bottom leafs? If so, it is normal and it is just a sign that plant is moving on to its next stage and using its energy towards new growth.

yellowing is normal. dots are not. can you take pictures?
hello , here you have the only pic , where you can see in the most big plan (whit zoom) the yellow problem , in the first leaves of the plant.
sorry for my inglish!!
thanks for all you answer

what kind of soil are they in, and have you been feeding them?
i made a mistake at first and put too acid soil. now it is the right mix you buy at the store with perfect PH.
and regarding the nutes i did put some at first but have now stopped.
what do you gather? ;-)

did the soil have nutrients in it? how long ago did you put them in the new soil? what are the nutrients?

i think it's probably time to add some nutrients, making sure you get nutrients with magnesium (Mg) in them. Start at 1/2 or 1/4 strength and work up to full strength to make sure not to overfeed them.

the new soil was done today. earlier yesterday we had flushed the plants.

the current soil has 60% soil, 20% animal shit, 10% organic vegetal matter, 10% pearl

humidity 19-24%
8-13 organic matter
ratio carbon to nitrogen 14.6%
total nitrogen .05%
PH 6.5-7
worm hummus
can i get Mg at a pharmacy or doesnt need to be a plant place?
sorry this one was a bitch to translate :P
OH LASTLY, HOW DO KEEP THE HUMIDITY BETWEEN 50 AND 70% NOW ITS BELOW 50, I MEASURED IT!!!

since you just changed soil, you're just going to have to wait and see how they respond. If you feed them right now, you run the risk of overfertilizing them. I'd give them a week or at least a few days to see how they respond. The animal shit ( :) ), depending on what kind it is, should give them some nitrogen which they need.

If you have problems with Mg - you might without supplemental nutrients - you can always add some epsom salts, which you can get from a pharmacy. Although you can grow and bloom your plants without adding nutrients to the water, it is generally good for the health of the plant and yield to add them. See how they look in a little bit, and go from there.

The english is fine, by the way. Isn't Serj Tankian from Argentina? SOD is great.

How many diffrent ways are there to give nitrogen to a plant? I need to find something, I found a 1lb mexican bat guano with nitrogen. But its $16 to buy it and get it shipped, is there anything I can do that is cheaper? Thanks.

There are a shit-ton of ways to give your plant nitrogen. Fish emulsion, worm castings, guano ... do you have garden store near you? If so, you can find something for much cheaper than $16. If not, I would recommend getting a water-soluble nutrient made to grow MJ in veg stage and use it. It will be concentrated and cheaper to ship, and also contain all the micronutrients needed for good growing. One problem with guano is that it should be precisely dosed or it can easily burn.

hi everyone! this is my first and i ve improvised with my clever partner coming up with this. could you give me some feedback? Do they look well? how long until i can distinguish the males from the females? the lamp we have currently is a 250 watt hml mixed mercury by phillips. Is it enough? What other things will we need in the short term? thanks a lot!
happy smoke!
they look alot like ine were, about the 5th week they jus took off. grew tall and they look great now. i wouldnt worry bout it. i think ull b pleased with ur results. jus water twice a week or so, and let nature takes it course

woah, sorry about that. someone must have lied to me.

they look fine. i see you misted one. that is a good way to keep up the humidity.

thanks! i m very proud of my babies, as are we all ;-)
now i ve got a new questions. once i know which are female do i have to continue with veg or can i start 12/12 right away? how do i know when i can start 12/12? i dont have a lot of room so i can let them grow too big.
as usual, your wise feedback is always appreciated!
