Expected Yield?

If I am growing 8, 3-4 foot plants of White Widow with 2x1000w lights on a Hydroponic system, how much weed should I expect to get from one harvest.
I understand that it is extremely variable, but what would you say is the average yield for this kind of set up?

who knows mate, too many other variables....

1st grow? lst? topped? soil/hydro? nutes? and the deciding factor is your growing ability.

wow 2000w for 8 plants. If you have the room I would let them suckers veg for at least 8 weeks. top them correctly. Get them big and fat before you start flowering. Make sure you do not harvest them to early. Let Them Ripen before you harvest!! You do it right and you will harvest a hell of a lot more than 500g

Shit man, you wil get more than 20o grams, I was thinking 500 + with those 1000 watt lights.
Yeah at the very least. If he has CO2 and good nutes I don't see why he couldn't go over .5 grams a watt. If you have a perfectly good environment I don't see why you couldn't get 500 grams or more per light. Shit with 2000 watt you could get a pound and a half or more personally. Each of those 1000 watters should get you at a minimum .5 grams per watt. That's a conservative figure too.

If you clone your best plant, use top quality nutes, have proper temps, PH, EC, no deficiencies, and use CO2 I'm betting you could go over .5 grams a watt.

4 large plants under a 1000w setup is actually the ideal amount of plants for that type of setup. You want each plant to have at a minimum 100 watts of light per plant however you really should be giving each one more than that if you monstrous colas. I wouldn't place more than 4-6 large plants under a 1000W or 40 very tiny plants ala see of green style. I also would only veg till they were 1 to 1.5 feet tall. Those fuckers will stretch 2-3 times their size during fruiting.

P.S. I plan on using 2 1000w for my grow once medical MJ passes in my state.

I will respectfully disagree with only veggin for 3-4 weeks or 12 to 18 inches tall. The larger your root mass the better your yield will be if all other considerations are correctly met. Veg them puppies to 2.5 - 3 feet tall. You have plenty of wattage to handle it. This will give you a much better yield.
I can tell you that if you only veg them to 12 inches tall and start budding then you will be very lucky to get 500g IMHO
However I have never done hydro. I am a soil man. So with hydro it could be a little different. If you let them veg for 8 weeks their is no reason you couldn't yield at least 4 ounces for each plant(must be topped correctly)
;Peace

If you have roof space then I guess if you have the option to veg till 2.5 to 3 feet do it. For sure bigger is better. But just know those will be 4 to 6 feet tall plants. You'd need more than 2000 watts to grow that. Those fuckers will be dense as shit. You have to remember plants grow by a factor of 2 or 3 when in flowering. Sativas leaning on the 3 and most indicas towards the 2. If you buy a plant that stays bushy like a mazar you can go grow it over 1.5 to 2 feet range because in theory they shouldn't stretch much.

Some also follow the general rule of thumb to only flower once the pre-flowers are showing and that could take a while.
