exhausting

What is the best, easiest and cleanest way to cut a hole in plaster ceiling so I can extract this hot air?
I've got a jig saw but noisy and dust will go everywhere.

Run a vacume hose in tandem... Or get a hole saw

When ducting into the ceiling is it recommended to put anything over the end of the duct to stop anything from going in?

I just ran my exhaust ducting to our man hole/ceiling and put a panty hose over the end.

That's what I was thinking of do.

mass amounts of humid air in your attic is a bad idea. Mold, ice, etc.

Anything to prevent the worst?

Unfortunetley my cieling was the only option.

Dehumidifier... Either an electric one of those moisture absorbing packs will all help but it is a better option to vent out the eve rather than just into the celling or attic

Sorry to bring back an older thread, have you considered exhausting under your house?

All sorted mate.
House is on concrete slab so under is out of question.
