Exhaust / ventilation Help/ Questions

I am planning my grow, 4 plants DWC. I have a closet that is 4' x 3' x7 1/2' tall. I have no attic space to vent into, here's where the questions come in.

I am thinking about venting / exhaust into the floor, so that it blows down into the crawl space under house. Would this a) work b) be efficient ?

Would this have to have a carbon filter (DIY setup) to not reek outside of my home? My first grow I'm going with Pineapple Express, I've heard it's quite smelly

Also, what about putting an intake fan in the floor as well to suck in cool air?

What type of ducting should I use or would I need to use , and what type/location would I put it for the exhaust?

interesting. yah you can install ducting anywhere theres air. if you wanted to swiss cheese the floor it would be cool. youre gonna need to exhaust your hood...itll get hotter thna you plan on, so that means more holes in the floor, but done right you could split and join ducts and handle business. as for a filter, your bud will only reek as much as you baby it. i would get one...not a DIY one unless it was a last resort. so i would think youd want to stay with 4" ducting because youre in need of floor space. post some pics and let me know how it comes out... i love air...its so overlooked.

Yea I'll post some pics in the next couple weeks. Yea, not excited about cutting into floor, but it's a great spot.. and the can always fix the floor if need be..

A couple 4 inch holes shouldn't be a big deal.. I've also thought about 1 in the floor (off in the corner of the closet) and 1 in the ceiling, then just put a pipe and cover on it on the roof, out of site for sure.

So if I exhaust the hood on the light , up and out, should I also be putting a seperate exhaust (duct) pipe somewhere in the middle of the closet, that sucks up and out as well?

I want this thing done right, and it seems like alot of people overlook HVAC conditions. thx for the info
