Exhaust necessary?

general hydroponics, pure coco I have to call the electrician and AC guy. The contractor is coming tomorrow to take a look at the place and see what we're going to do about the room build outs. It will be easier for you all to analyze the situation if you could actually see the place so I will get some pics up asap.
If you get a ceiling height of atleast 10ft, use double ended bulbs. You should be able to find one person to set up that whole room for you. Ac electric and buildout. I do it here all the time. I build, wire, buy equipment and install equipment and ac for the entire setup, usually comes out to around $2000 per light installed. (That includes the wood, wire, lights, dehumidifer, inline and carbon filter and labor.) I pretty much include everything but the air conditioners into my price. Obviously I am not offering to come out there and do it. Just trying to give an example of how that "service" works.

I have my flower room equipment already 4 Magnum Xxxl Ochos inline fan, 14k btu portable AC. Then I still have 2 non air cooled parabolic hoods. I basically just need walls put up and if I can't get a good price on that I'll just buy tents.

Please for the sake of your grow and power bill get rid of that portable ac. Those things are beyond eneffecient and leak smell like no other.
As for the walls, do it yourself. 18 inches on center. R13 insulation. Use a pulley to stand each wall up after you built it in the ground. Then u cut two 2x4 to hold up your studs to go across the ceiling. (The ceiling is much easier with two people, but definitely possible alone.)
Tents suck, plain and simple. Plus the one u would need (10x10) a cheap one that might last a year is $500. You can build that with wood n poly and insulate it for around the same price, slightly more, but much better.

Also, I'd start straying away from GH. Scott's(the company that makes miracle grow) jus bought the GH and who knows what they are about to do with it. They might change everything about it or they could keep it the same and mass market it. Just suspect some kind of change.

Okay, so if I have a minisplit at 24K Btu to run 4 lights in a sealed room, do I need one exhaust vent with a phresh filter, too (at 800 or more CFM pulling out through the filter)? Or do I skip the carbon filter entirely? And are there high quality filters besides Phresh?

a sealed room is just that, SEALED, if you run an exhaust, you need an intake and you have an open system.

yes, Although My a/c works on the humidity well enough that I don't need a dehu. I just drop temps at night

Grower's House calculator for my size room indicates 2 cu. ft/hr is recommended, so I'm trying to determine what size tank, how long it lasts and any added equipment that is needed to buy WITH the tank (plus the tank size).
