Better that Biden has forgotten that he had a document that was put away in storage by aides 20 years ago (assuming he knew that document was there in the first place) than 30 million people forget that Trump roused up a mob to attack our Capitol Building, kill Mike Pence and overthrow the election he lost fair and square. It only happened less than four years ago.

I think it is a fair question to ask you, since you brought it up. Did Biden know those documents were in those files or were they in a mash of papers that aides packed away for him? This is central to your claim. Links please.

Nazis at CPAC is a frog-in-boiling-water moment for the right
The white supremacist right is penetrating the mainstream right with increasing ease.

The Conservative Political Action Conference is the premier gathering of right-wing activists and politicians in America every year, and it serves as a bellwether for the direction of the conservative movement. This year Nazis showed up.

This was only the latest colorful Trump tale about supposed water restrictions in Beverly Hills. At California’s Republican convention in September, he said, “Rich people in Beverly Hills – we don’t feel so sorry for ’em, but I do, actually.

They pay millions of dollars in taxes, they’re taking a shower, they’re told to hurry up, you’re only allowed a small amount of water when they take a shower.

That’s why rich people from Beverly Hills, generally speaking, don’t smell so good.”

That last sentence seemed like a joke, and the audience laughed. But he delivered the part about supposed Beverly Hills water rules as if he was describing a real policy.

Facts First: All of Trump’s claims are wrong. Beverly Hills does not have any limits on residents’ indoor water use; it does not restrict how many gallons of water they can use, how many times a day they can brush their teeth or how long they can spend in the shower.

This , from a known walrus that has eye watering body odor , swamp ass and ghoulish halitosis.
Don’t forget the spray tan. To complete the gas station rest room vibe, it needs a cheap loud fragrance mixed in with the sewer smells.

Wasn't that in the General Attorney report that Biden can't be prosecuted for the same charges as Trump, because Biden is to old to remember where he puts top secret papers?
I think you have a problem with 'same charges as Trump'.

Trump was actively trying to evade, the whole 'coverup is worse than the crime' is why Trump is a slam dunk crime, and Biden's willingness to work with the government to make sure that his journals and any other items he had in his possession were handed over is very different.

Great link thank you.

Do you understand what "disclosed" means? I will explain to you. Disclosure of highly classified materials means treason. And Biden did that willfully and will suffer no consequences.

Remember when Biden openly bragged about the secret documents he had and the material that was in them to his guests? Oh wait, no, that was the orange one at merdalardo.
He still wasn't charged for that.

Definition: In Article III, Section 3 of the United States Constitution, treason is specifically limited to levying war against the U.S., or adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort.[2]

Biden had personal journals and some news articles that as soon as found was promptly handed over to the authorities, Trump had nuclear attack info and attack strats that he then hid and tried like hell to keep away from their rightful owners (us Americans), those are very very different things.

Not so fast …..

Special counsel Robert Hur noted the large differences between investigations into President Joe Biden’s and former President Donald Trump’s handling of classified documents in a section of his report on Thursday.

The Hur report said that Trump’s case was different from Biden’s because the former president allegedly “obstructed justice” after being given multiple chances to return classified documents. Yet he resisted all attempts to return those documents , claiming they were “ his “ to do with what wants with them. He knew what he had and still obstructed efforts.

That alone is a glaring difference between the two.
Trump had to have his home raided before he coughed them up and still may have hidden files as some are still unaccounted for.

Most notably, after being given multiple chances to return classified documents and avoid prosecution, Mr. Trump allegedly did the opposite,” the report said. “According to the indictment, he not only refused to return the documents for months, but he also obstructed justice by enlisting others to destroy evidence and then to lie about it.”

The report compared Trump’s alleged behavior with Biden’s, laying out the ways the president cooperated with the special counsel throughout the course of the investigation.

“In contrast, Mr. Biden alerted authorities, turned in classified documents to the National Archives and the Department of Justice in 2022 and 2023, consented to the search of multiple locations including his homes, permitted the seizure and review of handwritten notebooks he believed to be his personal property, and in numerous other ways cooperated with the investigation.”

Which, disclosure of highly classified materials is. Or you think that making highly confidential materials available to anyone who should not see them would not help an enemy of the US?
Wondering if there is any point in engaging with you. But sure.

Biden, according to the report, willfully withheld/disclosed classified documents. That's against the law. Trump is being charged with it, as well as 39 other charges.

Trump's willfull retention/disclosure is different. The difference is when Biden was investigated, he cooperated and returned the documents. Trump did not cooperate (repeatedly) and eventually the FBI had to get a search warrant and round up the documents themselves.

Biden took responsibility. Trump said, variably, that he didn't know, the FBI planted them, they were his anyway, he declassified them, it's not a crime, etcetera, etcetera, et-fucking-cetera.

I hope you can see the difference and maybe why Biden isn't being charged for the one crime - when Trump’s 39 other charges stem from him not taking responsibility for the same one crime.
