all this time i was lamenting that cruz seemed to have slipped the net that the rest of the incredibly stupid asshole caucus stuck their own appendages into...Do republicans not know that emails don't go away, ever? that lists of calls received and sent don't go away, ever? That the person on the other end of the call could be recording you for future fuckery?
How did an entire party of criminal fucks get so careless about committing crimes?
I'm just glad that teddy is going to get his own room close to trump's...

It does not look good for Ted and perhaps others, because Jack could be going for the outtakes of a few shows with suspects as guests, this gives him a foot in the door. They were arrogant, lazy and stupid, they never thought anybody would see most of the evidence, most never knew the capitol would be breeched with an insurrection and that historic event changed everything. They are like cockroaches scrambling when the light comes on and the lights are shining brightly. It sure looks like a lot of this shit is going down during primary season and we have a bit of a timeline for the state charges. Jack Smith remains the wildcard and the secret documents and obstruction cases are fast to trial and a quick trial with the cuffs going on at the end of it. He could save the GOP from being left high and dry with a candidate running from a cell over the docs and obstruction and an insurrection trial underway.

I mentioned that several states won't put Trump on the ballot because he is an insurrectionist, even if he is not convicted of it. He will have to sue to get on the ballot and get through discovery in the civil case with Jack sitting in the room.

:?...where did you gather this information?
I believe that was a suggestion by Robert Reich, and not a thing that any states said they actually intended to do....

It's sketchy as hell and explains a lot about why the approval rating of the Supreme Court went steeply south.

But to get a conviction of a Supreme Court Justice for perjury, the prosecutor would have to convince twelve jurors unanimously, beyond all reasonable doubt, that at the time they testified to Congress, they intentionally misled Congress. And the Justices' defense will be that they reconsidered their position. That they used their judgment to re-evaluate. Judges are asked to reconsider their positions routinely. And Judges sometimes change their minds. And long term precedents are sometimes overturned. Proving that the Justices at the time they testified to Congress said one thing at the precise moment that they intended to do something else, will be difficult. Because if they changed their mind after reconsideration, that's something we pay Judges to do as part of their job to use their judgment.

Having said that, I personally believe that this was a long term Federalist Society plan and that the current Supreme Court has too many GOP members who are part of the Federalist Society cult. They were appointed to achieve GOP policy goals that they can't get at the ballot box.

But they are all smart enough to be able to avoid perjury charges and ultimately are the Court of Last Resort on their own fates.
I figured it must be something like that but thanks for spelling it out.

:peace:

Hillary should have told trump to sit down when he was pacing the stage like a big ol weirdo.

Think it's great trump is the candidate, I would be concerned if the republicans ran literally anyone else. They shouldn't try to keep him out or off ballots or whatever, maga needs to die under its own weight and pull the republicans down with it.

Ted Cruz committed treason for a guy that called his wife ugly and accused his dad of killing jfk. Wtf is wrong with you Texas.

Disjointed thoughts ahoy!!!

Oh Jesus, please make abortion illegal because they respect life so much and I'm prolife! Here a just some of the consequences of stupidity and an example of foxnews killing people by supporting the politicians who do this shit despite the wishes of the majority. A story you are unlikely to find on foxnews, or if it is covered, it won't run long and nowhere near primetime.

Maybe let medical professionals do their fucking jobs and keep ignorant malicious assholes out of their lives? That is assuming you can get past the propaganda and fear that foxnews is spreading like poison across the land to address real problems. They can't address real problems, they can only "other" and attack American citizens an foment hatred against them or anybody who wants to improve life in America for Americans. I have seen foxnews punish and attack people for doing good countless times, while they promoted con artists, criminals, racists and assholes as people to be emulated.

Is this a violation of a woman's basic human rights? How about her constitutional rights? How come the SCOTUS doesn't even know basic right from wrong? That they worry more about the intent of the founders instead of fundamental justice. Most children could figure this shit out, yet elected people and judges cannot. Clarence Thomas can't figure it out, either can Alito and some other federalist fools on the court.

I'd turn this incident into a campaign ad and put it in the faces of voters and call out republican voters for it and their politicians.

Uh, they thought they would win? A criminal always thinks they will get away with it.

Disney sues DeSantis, alleging harm to its business
The Walt Disney Company is suing Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) and other state officials, alleging that DeSantis is harming the company’s business operations.

The lawsuit comes after months of Disney and DeSantis sparring over legislation that DeSantis has signed and steps the governor has taken to increase the state’s control over Disney.

“A targeted campaign of government retaliation—orchestrated at every step by Governor DeSantis as punishment for Disney’s protected speech—now threatens Disney’s business operations, jeopardizes its economic future in the region, and violates its constitutional rights,” the lawsuit states.

According to this video Trump has an 81% favorability rating among republicans, so there is no reason to believe he won't win the nomination even if he is indicted for further crimes. In fact, jailing Trump pending trial over the documents case could drive his approval numbers even higher! So go slow, let them nominate him or have him drive all others from the field and then pull the rug out from under their feet and bust him for simple insurrection and for seditious conspiracy later. It looks to me like Trump might be running from a cell as the republican nominee, it will be the Whitehouse vs the Big house, with ongoing trials for a ton of other shit.

It's not what Ted said, it's what others said during foxnews recorded off air conversations and Jack should have enough for warrants to get all their primetime shows tapes! Tucker, Hannity and others! This could delay the J6 conspiracy trials and looks like a treasure trove of evidence and leads.
