Ok, before I get into this thread, if it’s not ok you can always let me know or kick me. Cuz I like RIU but I’ve noticed a trend of experienced growers getting frustrated and getting rude with new growers who have come on here looking for help. So... first (to the new growers) welcome to rollitup, and yes you will get help. Now ( to those who I’m speaking about ) please try to be patient with those who don’t know as much as you. Getting upset and being rude will not help them and sure won’t make them stay. Not everyone is going to listen, and that’s not a bad thing. Curiosity is a good thing... and some people need to make a few mistakes to realize they should listen. Don’t get mad.... be patient and help their hard headed ass understand. Sure it can be hard sometimes, but that’s not a reason to be rude. Patience guys, we’re all tryin to do the same thing the best we can. let’s make the world green!

Oh ya, before I get checked about this being the wrong place for this. I posted it in here because it’s the first place people go when they come here. So they ( and myself kinda) can see just how it is received.

I agree. More people that grow their own goods and for others to make it easy for new-comers. There will be no prohibition.. One day!

P.s. a lot of people do not know or understand when they are being told due to the use of terms they aren’t familiar with. Such as scientific terms, Most are so new they don’t know the name of the different parts of a plant. Try to simplify when talking to new growers guys. They can learn... remember that once in your life you were clueless too. Hell most of us had to figure it out for ourselves with high times mags and trial and error. Lol. Thank god for RIU!!!

I've been on n off this website for around 10'ish years...its always been that way...sometimes worse than others but you have certain people who that's just "their thing"...I wouldn't take it too personal...and you never know what kinda day someone may be having...

And newbies can sometimes ask some ridiculous questions and present some ridiculous circumstances

It's just how things are

I respect your opinion, but I disagree, this is a social and educational site right? So then a certain amount of common decency is expected right? I’m not asking them to hold peoples hands, just to tone it back a little. I haven’t been here for long but I have been here long enough to see people look for help and get treated like a step child... lol. And just accepting such behavior will only encourage it. So how should I put this.... fuck being humble! If you feel as if you are being treated inappropriately, speak up and let them know it’s not cool. Just my humble opinion. I’m sure some won’t agree, but ask someone who was done that way if they agree.

I'm a pretty new member my self and my first time ever joining an online message board and I gotta say I LOVE it here ... I think I'm addicted to being on here more than being in my grow room ... What have u guys done to me! No but yes your right it's hard trying to explain something when there is just too much to learn and we will never stop learning u can spend a life time researching But untill u actually do it like u said learning from mistakes is probably the best lessons to learn.. anyway from a fellow new member there is a wealth of knowledge between all the smart people here some times it's just good to sit back and absorb, and then ask all the right questions. Good luck ! We where all new at one point! :bigjoint: :hump:
