I was wondering if anyone had successfully used molasses in an aeroponic system without blocking the jets up with sticky goo yet made the outcome worth the effort and risk?

No point. Plants wont use there provided sugars. They are useful in soil to feed beneficial (however sometimes bad so be careful) microbes which in turn, make it easier for the plant to absorb nutes.

Is there a hydro alternative that you can suggest without me reading through every manufacturers product list please?

I just picked up some Humboldt Hydro Honey on a recommendation from someone on these forums. I will let you know how it works.
