I am new to hydro and growing in general. My plant looks like this now. It looks different. Something is up. Anyone know anything?

Give us the details on temperature, light, medium, watering. Your are correct it looks like it’s struggling

My ph is right below 6 right now. 40percent humidity. 70f. Light is a viparspectra p600 led grow light at 50 percent power. I did 1/4 strength general hydroponics flora trio nutrients and I also added botanicare hydroguard.

How do the roots look?

Too many unknown environmental and system factors to really confirm but she looks hot, over fed, and light burn...the smaller gals in the pics are way underdeveloped for that light.

It got worse. This picture is from today. I have not calibrated my ph meter ever. It is a week old. It is an Apera pc60-z. It does my ppm also. They have been on the same solution since the start. The plant wasn't aways like this. I am going to flush the roots and the the res. What should I do for nutrients? I have general hydroponics flora trio. cal mag. And hydroguard. I haven't used the Cal mag yet. Suggestions?

Did you read the instructions of the PH pen? They can sit on a shelf for a long time before being purchased and they will not remain accurate.
I bet your instructions will say the Pen has to be calibrated before the 1st use when new.
You need to get 7.0 and 4.0 calibration solutions.
Another must will be properly storing the Pen in storage solution. Sounds like you already have the storage solution.

I read the instructions and still have them. It says that you do not have to calibrate before use. It also comes with liquid in the cap so it doesn't ruin the element.

Did you get calibration solutions with the meter? If so personally I would check if I was going to rely on it.

Absolutely what everyone is saying - get your pen calibrated, without that being done your ppm + pH numbers could be WAY off, which could cause any number of issues...
