evap cooler and AZ heat

Im in AZ - its starting to heat up outside (106 next week). Im curious if anyone has had any luck with evap coolers to drop the temp down in their grow spaces without jacking up the RH? I see a few that would fit great in my closet but would raise the humidity in the room. Right now with my 8 bulb t5 fixture on around the middle of the day my temps are hitting 83-86 degrees and RH of 34%. I keep the house at 78 degrees but this room stays a few degrees warmer for whatever reason.

I did some searching and am aware of optimal temps so trying to get it down as much as i can. This is a soil grow as well. Just curious if anybody has tried evap coolers in hotter/dryer climates.

Ur good in veg man as long as it don't get above 90 in there man but, r u gonna be trying be flower her ur gonna need allot more then t5 I mean u can but they will be pretty stringy and airy, and when it comes to time u set up the HPS ur gonna NEED a portable ac so I'm thinking dump a couple extra and go with portable ac that's wat I did and im in same spot, little swamp coolers I would think put out to much humidity great concept but when the monsoons come and gets humid/muggy it's not gonna work for shit invest now,it'll save ya in the long run happy growing man

I agree on the HPS and im actually leaning towards LED due to smaller spaces and heat of course. I wont use a portable AC because im not going to exhaust it out the window. The evap cooler would be portable and would not need to be exhausted out of the space. I guess i can always kick the AC down in the house as well but $$$$

I'm just not sure the swamp cooler would be best but then again I'm not to sure could always test it dosent hurt to take shit back. I didn't wanna exaust either because apartments but nothing was working for me so, I just got the ideal air ac now I don't even have to vent my 1000w light they stay a steady 84 on the top of the hood and 72-78 in the tent. I spent about 100 hrs fucking worth heat issues I even made a fan with copper line wrapped around pumping ice water thru and using the fan to blow the cold air. Haha didn't work as well as I wanted but anyways keep posting and lemme know if it works out for u!

Evap coolers can bump ur room temps down by 30 degrees if u put a block of ice in the bucket. Figure on replacing the ice every 4 or 5hrs. I dont worry about humidity until the plants are in late flower (mold). Even 50rh is fine during veg.
I walked a guy through a T5 grow and the the buds were nice not light at all. Those T5s are good if you can't go with hps because of heat issues. Ppl who dis T5 grows generally have never done one. You can lst your canopy to be very near the light for maximum benefit.
Do your T5 grow first before you invest in an LED. Stick with your evap cooler and don't worry about rh until later on.

Fuck that's hot. Im way down under and it's cold. Running 1000w hps in a hood with a little 4" Fan and it's a balmy 25c in the tent.
