Ethos "Thug Roze" meets the Gavita Pro LED's............

So to review:

1. I generally top between weeks 3 and 4 in veg, depending on how long I plan to go (in veg). I like to leave 1 week for the plants to recover from a topping before initiating flowering.

2. One solid lolipopping is generally all thats needed. I like to do it the same time I defoliate for the first time, Remove almost everything on the bottom 1/3 of the plant. The only time I'll leave something is when a low branch is well developed and has some decent height to it already. Everything else goes............

3. You guys know how I feel about defoliating......it's made a big difference in my grows. But it's even more important under LED's, due to their great light spread. I generally complete the first deep one the day I switch to flowering, then I'll remove more leaves that are blocking a bud site below them. These days, 3 weeks after my first defoliation, I continue to remove about 1-2 handfulls of leaves daily. Always consider removing the largest of the sun leaves, and don't remove small leaves (for now).

Today is day 21 in flowering, at least 7 more weeks to go. The above defoliation pic's were from the Orange Gasm grow over on THC Farmer.......

that’s great info and They’re great pics..look at the difference in light penetration..
after a heavy defoliation like that you can see the benefits, improved airflow, humidity levels, light hitting almost every bud site..
im learning a lot.

So, after spending some time in the room tonight, I’ve decided not to rip the room apart tomorrow. #1, I sure don’t feel like it but I would if I thought it was necessary and #2, I’d hate to ruin the canopy in the room, since it’s spread nicely and it might never be as nice as it is now. It’s a tough decision, one that could go either way, but I should be able to get to the first 2 rows on each side done anyway- it’s the 3rd row on each side thats nearly impossible to get too.

I was hoping you would do it,but get why you don’t want to spoil the canopy, they ain’t like a jigsaw that fits back together the same as it came apart.
still it will increase the airflow to the back rows and humidity will be improved, may also make it a bit easier for watering.
how many litres per day is your dehumidifier collecting?

After watering tonight, I’ve decided to rip tomorrow. It just plain needs it. So many leaves, it doesn’t seem to matter how many I remove. I’ll take a before and after pic, if I remember. If I pull them out properly, I can put them all back in their same spots.

I’m running the exhaust fan full blast right now, so the dehumidifier is not removing as much as it normally does. I think the last time I emptied it, it was 1.5 gallons over days. I have it set at 60%, but the humidity has not been going above that except when I water.

So, I didn’t do it- I just let the room alone. I set up, put tarps down, cleaned the scissors, added lighting, etc., etc. but after pulling the first plant out- I decided against it. It would have been a lot of work and I’m not sure what the return would have been. It probably would have delayed things a bit, and it surely would have messed up my canopy. I’m done thinking about it now, no regret’s……….would u mess with this canopy?

Ethos claims this strain is an absolute monster, so I expect some amazing things in the next few weeks……….

I see Ethos is also bringing back 1 of my 2 favorite Ethos strains, Zsweet Inzanity. It’s an amazing strain using a Durban Poison x (Gorilla Glue #4 x Citral skunk)…….I did a grow report on this a few years ago, I’ll have to look for it.

Honestly, I didn't pay much attention to the different phenos........but it was all wonderful. I never understood why they discontinued the strain and was happily surprised to see it returning soon.

Something tells me I started that thread here and ended finishing it elsewhere. I’ll have to look for it again. My favorite all time Ethos strain is Chem OG, Zsweet Inzanity was 2nd. I wanted to get that straight.

I thought I found some of my words on the strain and I said I had some hermies with it. I know the Orange Kush Cake I did three of last time hermied a bit. With some strains, Ethos can not be trusted.

Yup, pretty even for 12 plants. There’s always a few that are taller or shorter, but overall, I’m happy where we are at day 25 in flowering. As I’ve said, these are late bloomers so the start of flowering was a bit slow.
