I’m thinking if I was to weigh it all right now, I’d be in the 120’s oz somewhere......I’m figuring on at least another 10+ oz lost in the drying curing process. If 106 oz was my best yield under these lights, adding 10% to that would be around 116, which may be close in the end. A crazy number, that’s for sure. I’m still trying to wrap my head around it all.

What I’ve heard, you still need to do additional trimming after running it thru the machine. I used to have friends help, but no one does it as well as me, so that was ended. I’m long retired, 17 years now, so it keeps me out of trouble and I usually just watch football while doing it. With the defoliations that I do, there is not a tremendous amount of leafage anyway…about 20 hours total trimming over a few days in normal.

As you say,spread over a few days it’s all good. daunting if it’s all in an instant. Especially when you are on plant 1 of 24.
I’m sitting here is disbelief right now…..I just weighed out the Thug Roze and I had to check my numbers twice. It’s been cold, the heat has been cycling on and off for a couple of days. Basically, this is done and still sitting in Tupperware containers. So, 21 plants yield me 104 oz, which come out just a bit shy of 5 oz per plant. The breeder claimed it was a monster yielder, and it turns out, he was right. Going 83-84 days helped a lot, it really packs on the weight.
the Super Skunk, right now is at about 18 oz for those 3 plants. let’s say I lose 2 more oz while drying, that would be 104 +16= 120 oz total out of the room. That would be 2.62 gpw, that’s a sick number right there. I don’t even believe it, and its right in front of me. I’ll redo all the calculations in a few days when the skink is done drying.
Between these 2, Ive been reaching for the skunk more to smoke than the Roze. It’s very “rich” tasting, full of deep flavors that remain on the tongue a good long time. It’s not overpowering, but it’s a mix of head and body and it’s nice and mellow, relaxing and tasty.

LOL, yup.....I have plenty of extra seeds right now too. I'm working with Terps on another site now, everything is cool.
I'm still in disbelief, I've seen some guys hit 2.5gpw before, but 2.6 in truly pushing the boundries. I attribute it to both strains being very heavy yielders, and the 12 week flowering period.

Zsweet Inzanity seeds haven’t moved since the 9th.......they are gone forever I guess. I got my refund from GSRH already......never again from them.
My Irie Seeds arrived today. Instead of 6 seeds a pack, there were 8 a pack. Plus 4 packs of testers that sounded good. Can’t go wrong with Irie Direct, ever. They are on Discord now, very up to date notices on availability of every strain, which is nice. On sale at $60 a pack, you’ll never find better value for sure.
Last post to close the thread out on Monday or Tuesday. I’ll review each strain, final weights, etc........... then a long vacation from posting here.

I like how you post the weight as it dries. I also weigh as it dries and people around found it odd and pedantic at first but now they join in and get excited each time. Mmmm the super skunk sounds so tasty and the balanced high must be very nice

Packaged up around 40 oz this morning.....so I an see friends tomorrow. The last chopped of the Thug Rose was moist when I opened up 3 of the larger Tupperware containers, so I’ll lose more weight over the next few days as that co ri yes to dry. The packaged stuff was perfect though. Maybe tues or wed for the final report now.
So I'm thinking about the strain.......how to combat the hermies. My choices:
1. Fuck it, grow the Lemon Jeferies from Irie.
2. Open 2 rooms. grow another 4-6 plants of to replace anything that shows hermie signs.e growert saw 1 hermie in 5 plants he grew.
3. Most hermies, if not "full-blown". show between weeks 1-3. I can rip the room apart each of those weeks, do some defoliation and give each plant a thorough going over.
4. Were the previous growers' hermie issues his fault? Can I control the room well enough so they don't turn?
To be sure, I don't want to deal with hermies. But, the strain is getting high marks and people reallyt like it. Yields heavily, easy to grow, bug resistant.
In all actuality, what it means is ripping the room apart once a week for the first 4 weeks of flowering. This is the only way be be thorough enough so you don't have a mistake. Then be very observant the last 2 weeks of flowering, where things can show again.
So I still have those Cocoa Nibbles, these I'm having an impossible job finding info on them- at least anyone growing it. There's also lots of different versions of these by others too. Mine are Rare Dankness.

Monster yielder, I got 16 1/2 oz off of three plants going 73 days in flowering. Easy to grow, no issues at all. I still have some of these seeds left, you'll be seeing this one again. Now comes the exciting part-
Some of you older guys will remember the Chocolate Thai weed that circled around in the 80's........it exactly like that, just without the chocolate. Greasy resin, deep and rich smell and taste, that lingers a long time. It's friggin delicous. I'd say it's 60-40 leaning to the indica side. You definitely feel it in the head, but are totally relaxed and chilled out. I wouldn't want to be out and about with this one- first, you'll reek. Second, it's more about sitting your ass down for a few hours, for something mindless like tv or RIU.
I'm so happy to have these, it's not something I would have normally searched out. Hell, the only reason I did them was to fill the room after a few Thug Roze's were behind the others- runts. It will be my Xmas weed.
