Sounds like you have never been. Yes the Philippines have some nasty spots, but so does some states in the USA. They also have some beautiful areas in the Philippines as well. Clarke Air Force base ( Luzon ) was one of the best TDY spots you could wish to go to. Seems like you got the worst slum pictures you could find, and it also shows that you travel very little.
