Epsom Salt Foliar Spray Question about Sulfur and Oils

I've recently been seeing people talk about how you cant spray any oil based sprays within 7 days of a Sulfur application.
Yesterday I sprayed my 24 inch tall veg plants that are about to get flipped to 12/12 with a light mix of organic NPK and a pinch of epsom salts which I know is magnesium sulfate. So not sure if the same logic applies to that as a sulfur spray...

Was planing on spraying with some IPM that were oil based but not sure if it will burn them.
Thinking worst case I could treat it with Monterey insect spray (spinosad) as I'm pretty sure that is not oil based.
Just don't want to fry these girls right before flower.

They're likely talking about Wettable sulphur or sulphur burners. Couldn't see the sulphur in Epsom having any kind of problem.
Why you spraying your plants with so much stuff anyways? Put the nutes in the water and the water in the pot....
Spraying too much/often can lead to its own issues as well.

I usually don’t spray at all but saw powdery mildew on one leaf and haven’t had it in 10 years so don’t want to have the nightmare I had back then.

Ah.
Just one leaf? Sure it was pm? If you can see it it's already everywhere... The fruiting body (fuzzy white stuff) is the final stage where it then puffs it's spores into everything :(. I hope you don't have pm man. Fingers crossed for you
Using silica in your feeds and foliar spray helps alot with the pm. I know you can use citric acid, hypochlorous acid, millstop, etc etc I've been there. It SUCKS.

I’m 50/50 on if it is or not. Saw a small white patch while transplanting to my 5 gal pots and thought it looked like residue from the Spinosad dunk. Then saw it again two weeks later and was more suspicious.

Hm. I see what you mean. For me, I can tell when they're little round fuzzy white patches. Kinda look like little white hairs. That's certainly suspect and I'd be doing something about it too....
