Environment help

I am just starting my 1st grow and have researched this site extensively for info to educate myself. I have read several posts that warn against higher temperatures. But what about cooler temps? I am currently at around 56 F. With humidity around 20%. Any suggestions? I am running them under my CFL, and I have a 400w HPS I plan to flower with.

Get that HID lamp going to get that temp up the RH need's to be around 50%.. Good luck!

ya man! put it under the hps, use the cfl as supplemental lighting if u want. that'll raise temps to where they need to be.

Yeah. Marijuana really likes the mid 70's. That's where it will really thrive and do it's best.

I wont lie though, right now I'm growing in my basement, and the top temp I get in there is probably 65 at peak temp & as low as 50's when they lights go out.

No PROBLEMS with the cold temp, just slow flowering growth.

thanks for all of your help, since this is my first time i am sure this wont be the last thread i post. Btw, in case anyone wants to know, my seedlings are 4 of good quality bagseed, 4 Ice , and 2 Mazar-i-sharif. I started the bagseed earlier than the others so that hopefully I will be able to catch my problems early with them, instead of the Ice or Mazar.
