Enough light for an indoor start?

I usually grow in my greenhouse but decided to convert my sauna into a grow room and clone station. My main concern is using it for clones.
I got 2 of the GE daylight 48" tubes. Is this going to be enough light to keep up to five or six clones going? And if I keep them inside is this enough light for vegging? Thanks for all help.

well if u currently grow in a greenhouse then im almost sure u r familiar with the rule that plants need as much light as possible! for 5 or 6 clones those 2 48" daylight tubes should do the trick but if i were u i would add maybe 4 23watt(100watt equiv.) daylight spiral cfl's as well so more light can reach the sides and bottoms of the plants a little better. IMO. i veg and flower with cfl's and it works wonderfully since i can place my lights about 3 inches away from my plants without burning them! of course they wont work as good as natural sunlight or HID lighting systems but r still work-able! people also say when using cfl's u should use a 24/0 or 20/4 light schedule, which ive experimented with and in my experience using cfl's i found this to be the most optimum light schedule for plants.. it goes as follows:

week 1: 24 on/0 off
week 2: 20 on/4 off
week 3 - end of veg: 18 on/6 off

week 1(of flowering) - harvest: 12 on/12 off

the logic behind the way i manipulate the light schedule is this... week 1 gets constant light so sprouts get every little bit they can soak up. this is really good for stem & leaf vigor. then in week 2 i change it up to 20 hours on and 4 off so that when they go into the 18 on and 6 off it doesnt stress the plant much. then for the rest of the time in the plants veg cycle i leave the light schedule at 18 on and 6 off so that when i'm ready to force the plant into flowering it doesnt bring on stress and cause deformities or influence the plant to become a hermaphrodite plant. hope that helps!
