energy saving bulb

this is my first grow and im not interested in large yields really. i have some lowyder seeds that ive germinated. would a 100w 1200lumens light bulb be enough to grow one plant or anything at all? thanks alot guys

it's not enough, unless you just want to harvest a few joints worth of weed..

and i assume that is not 100 actual watts, but 25-27 watts..

i'd get at least few more bulbs. at least 8 cfls to get anything worth while..

might as well just get the 42w...they equal 150 i think... then you'll just need 4... or mix it up... a couple 26, a few 30's and 42's.. all up to you... as long as the total wattage equal to 150 and above (don't add up the larger number on the lightbulb package, use the smaller numbers to calculate your total wattage).. you should be good... but 2 26w are good for vegging in the first couple of weeks for seedlings... and make sure they are 6500, you can mix in a couple of 2700K's with that if you like, just make sure you get 6500K for vegging though.. those are marked "daylight"
