in the first picture you can see the original box i used to row till they were about 6 inches tall. it was a old ream of paper box that is 18" tall when stood on end and had a 12" floro tube and 2 13watt cfls in it ok for the beginning, also had a computer fan mounted on the front of the box to create air flow i will be putting pictures of the empty box up in a bit

ok i know its been a while since i have updated so here it comes in rapid fire. ok so here is the shit about my small box that i used form seedling until about 6 inches tall. it is a ream of paper box that measures 18" tall and 12" deep. I lined it with tin foil(bad idea mylar is better) and i had one 12" floro tube that puts out 12 watts and i had 2 13 watt cfl's that were 2700k i screwed the floro tube to the top of the bax and had the 2 cfls hanging down through the top (cut flaps so i could move the lights up and down) i then put the seeds in cut in half vitamin water bottles and had the lights about three inches above them i then grew them until they were about 6" tall moving lights up accordingly, also i attached a computer fan to the front of the box to move air around and keep the heat down. i then moved them to another box that i made.

after the six reaming plants i had out grew my first box i made another on quickly and not smartly but i will be using it in the future instead of using my first box i made. this box is a plastic storage bin that is about 22" tall when standing on end and about 16" deep i actually have this bin so i can either use it standing up when plants are getting bigger or sitting like it supposed to with it sitting like its supposed to you can grow to about 9" and standing up about 14". i lined the inside with mylar for reflectivity and cut flaps in the lid so i could suspend 6 lights down for my six plants. and when it is standing up i have holes cut for 5 lights to hang down. Now i didnt do this right as it was my first grow and i vegged them until they were to big for any box i had so i had to pt some on the window sill and i gave 3 to friends after a while. i also cut an intake and exhaust hole and mounted pc fanson these hookd up to a model train controller this brings in freah air and expells old air.

ok so after i grew my plants to big to fit in any boxes i had i picked one plant and started to create a bigger box to flower in. I moved one plant into this box, kept one in the green plastic storage bin and put the rest on my window sill. i then put both the plants in the boxes on 12/12 and the ones on the window sill had a natural 12/12. After a while the plant in the storage bin out grew it and that had to be put in a window sill. so had one in a box and 4 in the window sill. the one in the box and the one that was in the plastic storage bin were both female and the others turned out to be males as i gave them to my friend who had room to flowered and they all turned out to be males. i then eventually gave the one that was on the window sill but was female to my friend to fins growing it and he still has it and is about 4-5 weeks from harvest, wre im about to harvest mine in the box this sat.

ok now for the box that im currently using to flower my plant that is to be harvested on sat. it is a box that measures 24" tall 12" deep and 12" wide. I lined it with mylar and cut two flaps in the top to suspend lights from and i put two light sockets on a piece of wood and then put y splitters in the sockets and suspended that from the top as well so i have 6 26watt(2700K) cfls above my plant and i have two 13 watt(2700k) cfls on the bottom that are just run in through the door on the box to give light to the underside of the plant. I also have three fans in?on the box i have a pc fan that does exhaust and one that does intake both located near the top of the box to get the hot air out and i ahve a 4" inline fan for intake that is at the bottom blowing up on the plant. the intake pc fan in run by an old cell phone charger an the exhaust pc fan is run by the model train controller that i talked about before. The plant grew to just fit the box it is as wide as it can be without getting burnt and as tall as it can be and still fit in the box, i have alot of pics so you will see this well.

here are some pictures from after i manicured my female that is to be harvested on sat. it took me about 2 hours to do this as i had to cut off all the bigger leaves not attached to the buds and cut them up in to pieces as im going to save them to make hash so it made it a involved and long process

after a week drying i started to cure my harvest out of curiosity i weighed it before placing it into airtight containers, i now have 35.4g or 1.26oz this is down from my original 102.6g i cut about 2g of stems off of the remaining buds and will be keeping them as they are my guess of 35 to 40 grams was right on and i had a weight loss of 63.82% so overall this has gone well now i have to finish up the curing and on to my second batch which is already 5 weeks into flowering i will post pics of my new plants and of my curing buds. an questions or comments pm me or wite in this journal thanks MVG for CFL power 194 watts to be exact!!!!
