I recently had to replace a Nanolux OG because of this issue. My AM radio was just noise.
I had previously bought a dirt cheap electronic ballast. Clips worked for this. My LED's do it too.
But the Nanolux OG, was a huge PITA. Clips did nothing. A diy faraday cage did nothing. Shortening cords did nothing. Even housing the thing in an iron box did nothing.
A magnetic ballast fixed this issue for me straight away. It's magnetic though, so don't put it near a pc or tv. Disrupts some cameras too.
From what i gather, its because of the frequency of most digital ballasts (60hertz i think), and they're not insulated properly.
I believe there are some digital ballasts that come with a no interference guarantee. But they cost an arm, and a leg. Pretty sure they're a different frequency too. 20hertz or some shit.
Word of cation too. My LED, and first digital ballast disrupted my tv as well!
