biznasty, aluminum like mylar, is nearly 100% reflective, much more than white base paint, sure white distributes the light more evenly and aluminum generaly isnt used due to increase in hot spots, but with cfl bulbs its hardly a problem. so you want him to paint the pop cans white? maybe the walls around the grow... but the light reflectors?

Yeah itll work. Just make sure its at about 1/2 strength.
by half strength you want me to use half its recommended dos?

It says to put 1 tablespoon in a gallon of water.

so maybe like .25 tablespoon in 1/2 gallon?

a gallon is a lot of water

Also, I painted the inside of the cabinet with its first coat (plant is at their complete darkness phase in the light, so i moved it into my empty closet)
and the cans lol. But i can always get my hands on new ones, they're just cans :D

UPDATE ON THE PLANT
it seems to be slowly dying ... :( Kinda bums me out. Its okay though because i should have new ones soon that i can take care of myself. and do it right :D..

anything else?

at least this time you will be prepaired and ready to go!

true that hahaha! But imma go ahead and add some of the vitamin B anyways to let that try its best to help. :D

UPDATE

Added the vitamin B. I poured about 1/4 capfull (small cap) into a waterbottle and added water to fill. Shook well and watered plant like normal. Ill continue this treatment once a week as directed.

I noticed my soil was slightly dry in 2 days. Is that normal?

I read up on another post that leaving cups of water brings up the humidity, should i do that?

its good to let the soil dry out in between watering...the roots need Oxygen...thats why you should have perlite in your soil to let in more air...i do the cups thing...i reccomend it.

perlie is cheap.....i got the miracle grow perlite (use something else if possible it has nutes in it) from home depot for less than $5 for 8 quarts....its very light weight too by the way....its good to mix in like 10-20% perlie into your soil......but theres tons of different mixtures ppl do.
