electro horticulture

I have been reading a ebook i downloaded from the 19th century on electro horticulture.

they provide experimental evidence of using copper and zinc plates in the soil to produce incredible growth results in many plants including hemp.

IE Earth Battery

i was considering experimenting with this myself. I have considered getting copper foil of some kind from Lowes. but i am not sure where the hell i could find zinc inexpensively.

any ideas on zinc that i can line the wall of a small flower pot .... let me know.

wowser....ok....damn....

well, i had already skipped to another type experiment.... i just got home from getting all the supplies.... i am now running copper wire thru my soil.....

i am now just trying to decide what kind of current i want to run thru the wires....

according to what i read in this free ebook..... i want to make sure it is a constant current..... because the plants will react when there is no longer electricity being applied.....

supposedly this extra current running thru the soil causes the nutrients to breakdown into their individual elements more so allowing for the plant to consume them easier....

Some while back I read an article about a scientific grow. They studied the grow in old copper mines, said that the growth rate was unbelievable They thought that it was due to the copper mineral. I can't remember them talking about the magnetic field. But a very interesting idea
