how much electrcity does a 1000hps light consume? like whats the average cost for electricity to run an ebb/flow system??

Look at your electric bill. There should be a spot on there that says KWH. It'll probably be something like around 15 cents an hour. Multiply it off of that, figure around a $1.80 per day on 12/12. Then whatever peripherals you have. 1k light is a little more than 1k depending on the ballast.

It costs me $65 a month to run a 1000 watt magnetic ballast 24 hours aday for 30 days and bout 25 for a month of 12/12 lighting

It cost approx. $75./month for 1000w HPS running 24 hrs/day
