10 gauge is only good for 30 amps 8 or 6 would have been better the wire could conceivably melt at say 38 amps without tripping the breaker
Yes I kinda knew that I’m going to switch it for a 30 amp soon I just figured it was the only breaker I had so I was below the amps used. Later if I want to add 4 more lights I'll run a second 30 is what I'm thinking.

you should be ok the melting point of 10 awg is closer to 55 amps
