electrician advise needed

I am trying to create something that is similar to the flip box...but instead of running 12/12 ....I want 6 on 18 off .....but I want it to run to four different lights in different rooms off of one ballast.....so off one ballast I need it to light up room one for 6 hours..then switch to room 2 for six hours...then three ...then four...then back to 1.....is this possible and what do you think an estimated cost would be

Idk if it'd be cost effective but it sounds like you could look at a zone timer. Run hot to ballast and ballast to zone timer then to lights.

It will only work if you find a timer board with a built in igniter capable of isolating and handling 200w+ loads per channel, at that point the cost of the ignitor board + the stress of 1 ballast continuously on isnt worth it. Just buy seperate ballast.
