Electrical issues.. power outs but need to expand, help

so i currently run 460w T5 fixture with 240w supplemental cfl, i have it all plugged into one power strip which is plugged into a manual timer plugged into my wall... throughout my grow I have run into random power outages in my house. Now a friend of mine wants to offer to pay my electric bill and use 2k watt HPS fixtures for the flowering cycle, get some type of sea of green going on. now i have the space for it and a separate room for flowering but i worry about the electricity and added heat. I know that a HPS requires its own ballast but is there not some type of device or ballast type thing i can buy for my T5/CFL setup to help reduced the impact the high electrical output and how can i tame my HPS to prevent more power outs?

Run dedicated circuits from your Panel to your lights.

first off a ballast in a hps is no worst then the power supply in your computer ..............if that helps u think about it (it could be 6 crappy computers or 2 really phat gaming system)

as for power going out.......u are tripping a breaker in the pannel the best way to aviod this 1 to upgrade the breaker and the wire....2 u need to runn a cord from anouther part of the place to that power part of the over all set up ..................2 should work and if u need u tape the cord down and use rugs over those area ...if it still trips a breaker your wiring is in ? and should have it looked at the 2nd cord coming from a differnet room/part of the house should be on a different breaker in the pannel


as for HPS ....DO NOT DIM THE BULBS......this will shortern the life of the bulbs and defeat what it does (dimming it lowers the power plusing in the light there by altering part of the lightwave it gives off since not full power full burn)

to help u ..............look at dual arc bulbs (it is a 400MH and a 600HPS in one bulb) this bulb has almost everything u need for perfect flowering ..........it is only missing UVA and UVB for increased resin production

as for your t5s.......................they will move over to your flowering and u can add in some uva and uvb lamps to hit the see of green ...........running 2000w hps means u are a 16x16 or atleast 12x12 so that is a shit load of some dank ass shit and u can use some of the money and get some LED to replace the T5s and Cfls (led u want mostly blue with some red...will last longer then ballast on the hps aslong as u get a good one ....blackstar/blackdog have a good rep for led 600w is equal to a 1000w is what i was told )

yes i know at some point there will be a bttom line and we will proably be at each others necks but hey, i have a vison and right now to make that vision a reality i have to welcome a friendly helping hand. and justugh i love what ur saying how the LED could replace the T5 but whats this i hear about putting the T5 in the flower room? also have you herd and how do you feel about the X5 spectrum for LED developed by nasa? alien weed if you ask me. and i understand red/blue spectrum 2700k 6500k but uva uvb? is that like the moonlight?
