So we are running about 180w of CFL's in a grow box in an attic. We have about 90w each powerstrip and have them plugged into a extension cord which we ran to the garage level. First it was fine then we plugged in a heater then the whole garages electricity went dude and we moved the extension cord inside to a computer room where the same thing happened a few days later. Now none of the eletric will work in any of these rooms. Any tips?!

heaters tend to trip breakers. can you run them off separate breakers? or split the them into two cords and to different plugs(even if they are on the same breaker)

Man I'm running 1 1000 watt MH and a 400 watt HPS off one outlet in a one bedroom apartment and when I lived in a house I had the same problem as you running 4 1000watt bulbs until I changed the breaker and you are only running 180 watt CFLs. I have many years at doing this and have wired sub panels for grows.
