I am in the process of setting up my garden and I would like to save 25 amps but most of my breakers are 15 so I decided a plan A but for my plan B, if I had to use my 50 amp breaker that connects to the 40A kitchen range, do they have adapters or how to people usually go about using bigger breakers for your garden? Most of my electronics will have standard plugs really all of them so how can I get the 40A range outlet 3 prong to convert to to standard outlet? Any input is appreciated

Your range is 220v,wire size must be matched to it's breaker.A range breaker can be removed and replaced with 2 110v breakers. From there you need 10ga for 30 amps,12ga for 20 amps 14 ga is15 amps.If you aren't experienced you should pay a pro .

Hey man if your panel is full go get a couple of tandem breakers and install those. They are the same size as a regular single pole breaker but has two separate breakers in it. If you install two of these that will free up two spots in your panel. Then I would install a pony panel just for your grow room. Remember that you have to use the appropriate wire size for the breaker you are going to install for your panel. I would personally install a 60 amp panel and that would take care of most everything you would need especially if your lights have the capability of running 240v. Be careful of what your doing and if you don't feel your capable call an electrician just hide all the good stuff lol

100% agree with using a licensed electrician.
