Greetings. I just purchased a 4" Muffin fan. It has a male receptacle with two prongs built into the side. It came with a femal connection, (with 2 wire leads), which attaches to the male receptacle on the fan.
I'm aware that most muffin fans should be wired using a 12V adapter but I'm not sure this one should be, here's why.
The fan is AC120V, 60Hz and 16W. With it being 120V I'm not sure a 12V adapter is required....shouldn't it just wire to a regular plug and then into a wall outlet? Or do I still need an adapter?
Thanks for all the help. I hope I posted this in the correct forum.
Happy growing!
Peace.
