Elaborate Grow Op

I don't know how old these photos are, so some of you may have seen this, but I found this and thought it was interesting.

I'm assuming that this dudes growing days are over as you can see a police car in the driveway in the first photo

I wonder how much he had invested in all of this....sheeeesh

Wonder what his electricity bill was and if that had anything to do with him getting caught.

I saw this a couple months back, truly amazing, I would guess they got caught by some narc, because if they went through that much trouble to build the damn thing they should also have alternate sources of electricity. My dream is similar to this but to use solar power, because then I could be in a more secluded area

electric bill would be one way, someone he knew might of gotten in some small scrap with law and sung like a bird to get out of w/e it was..

Wouldn't the escape route be rather pointless if they raided him. Like they would already be fucked, since I assume they own the house. But either way, that is a pretty legit grow op. As for the electricity bill, if they had hydraulic doors (not to mention a clever escape route, with a pretty awesome rock cover), I'm sure they had circumvented a way around the power companies.

Thats how us East coast boys roll! i bet he was a coal miner before he had the grow op

Thats how they got them. They were stealing power and the power company reported the usage.

NEVER STEAL POWER! It took alot to build that grow room and i bet it ran for a long time. But it could have gone completely unnoticed if they just used flip flops and paid their bill.

reminds me of the hide out in pineapple express, very cool! sucks to put all that time and money into something that great to only get caught for stealing power...

Yea no doubt. I wonder how much this guy was able to harvest every 60 days. With an operation this size he must have had to hire at least a few people to help out. Amazing.

Well Thank you for the props........but I cant take all the credit........I hired Illeagle Mexicans to do the hard work and I hired Vietnemise to do the garden part and then one white boy just to do the Accounting work............wouldnt of gotten caught but one of teh mexicans used me as a referance on his SSI disabilty form.

they didnt show all of the grow room..there was a room and living space down there..where 8 people could stay for long amounts of time...
they could have spend a little more and made their own electricity..generators..or wind operators..maybe even built a water source../shrugs..they spent over a millino dollars building that..i dont remember how much for sure....also the house isnt there anymore..i think it burned down
