​Sometimes we really worry about the state of Florida's youth. Kids today are so dumb they can't even get high correctly.

A 15-year-old boy in Daytona Beach, Florida, recently got in trouble for stealing a tomato plant, which he only swiped because he thought it was a marijuana plant.

The tomato plant's owner returned home last Friday to see someone climbing out of her kitchen window with just the plant according to WESH. The woman tried to chase the teen but he made off with his leafy loot.

A few days later, she spotted the teen again while walking her kids to school and with the help of another woman managed to hold him until police arrived.

When asked to explain the theft, the teen told police he thought it was pot. Oh, come on kid! Don't tell the police that! Why would you do that? Just tell them you really wanted to make your own fancy catchup, but your parents refused to buy you your own tomato plant or something. Don't make it any worse.

For the record, this is a tomato plant:

So yeah......I feel like the biggest psycho douche bag on earth. I went to the store to go buy a new atomizer and when i come back this guy is out front smoking a square. I go shoot the shit with the guy. And he ends up telling me my pitbull(Bootsie) was chasing a cat and damn near blew the fence in his yard.....And before I could offer to fix it he insist that is okay and that it is technically his fence so it's his responsibility

What a douche bag I am to just assume shit.....i feel owe him a smoke session just for judging him like that.....not that he even knows....but it's the principle that I could be such a psychotic ass. I guess i haven't gotten used to being out yet. And I had the mentality that he disrespected me and i aint no punk........Stupid!!

I'm a patient but these nazi's out here have this county ordinance banning all outdoor grows because kids have been robbing people and getting killed(that's life).....A couple dispensaries have been robbed also. Yeah, I wouldn't say you are a coward just seems like you are more laid back and honest. I'm real laid back too though......I do have my episodes haha. And this my friend is what cannabis is for.......really mellows me out. I wouldn't even call it getting high anymore. I call it being what people call "normal" lol. Yeah......i was in your thread too earlier......Yeah don't trip about those two wino's. As long as you don't do anything real stupid(leave shit on the site, piss around the site, shit around the site, spit around the site) you should be good. Next to try to bring some binocular's and a bird watching book. Plenty of ppl still bird watch these days so it is an excellent cover.....Also if you wanna go the extra mile buy a pair of shoe's 1 size too big and stuff them with a sock......If you really wanna be paranoid like me put duct tape on the bottom as well lol.

And he actually does grow....grapes lol. He has a small scale vineyard. and on the other side of me are some paisa Mexican's and they have a full blown orchard.......I live in the country.....If you aint growin weed you better be growing something lol.

your probably paranoid. i've learned the best way to handle this type of things is to just get to know your neighbors and be friendly to them. i know all mine and im pretty sure if they ever spotted my grow most would want to burn a doobie with me and the ones that might narc it out i think they would give me a little warning like " hey get rid of that or im callin the cops" and this way you can find out of this guys a creep who was doin something he shouldn't have been in your backyard.

wheres your pitbulls at homie? won't they let you know, that plus motion lights and a high powered pellet gun. you should be good to go if you are a decent shot.

keep in mind that plants right now are practically worthless.

Yeah.....he is kind of a weirdo him and his family never come out. And one of his kids is mentally challenged.....I think him and his wife are cousin's........they do that out here.

my pit started this whole dilemma by smashing the guys fence in lol...I hope it is an easy fix and they don't have to tear the whole fence down, revealing my grow. my pit bootsie is a savage. a month ago she knocked down our fence on the other side lol. she does this linebacker move where she just bulldozes over that shit lol. yeah to us because we are growers and know what the get down is....alot of dumb fucks out there have no clue and would be glad to take your plants and smoke foliage.
