Effects of not transplanting.

I have 7 females (miraculously out of a total of 8) and they are almost 2 weeks into flowering. They are now all around 3 feet tall and only a little stretched. But the thing is they are all in pots that are smaller than 2 gallons and i wont be able to transplant them. Whats the worst thing that can happen if i dont transplant???

I heard from some1 that it can actually cause more growth above the ground.

Well firstly, some1 is wrong. Secondly I wouldn't sweat it, 2 gals is okay for a 3 foot plant, sure it should be bigger more like 3 gallons but it's big enough. By the time it becomes root bound you'll be harvesting, just watch the nutrient dosages and watering schedule - you may have to flush more with a smaller pot depending on what your nutrients are.

exept its only 2 weeks into flowering and they are already 3 feet tall.

get some heavy duty black pvc trash bags, 5 gal ones, roll cost 2 bucks and you are fine. also you can stack them then against each other to save space. just watch that you get some lil drainage holes into them and some foil below for the excess water;)

They won't grow much bigger than they are now. The largest amount of 'stretch' you get, when it appears the plants grows much bigger, takes place within the first 2-3 weeks of flowering, after that it's flower and bud growth and the top cola getting taller.

if you transplant this later you hardly get any benifit of doing this, and you are starving the nitro out of your girls so roots are the last thing growing right now. this late its best to avoid transplanting

does that mean its also bad to start LST now - because i tied 2 of them down this moring in order to save some space for future cola growth

Had a crop get root bound , still produced no wieght fluffy budz that i couldnt give away , i wasted a grow because i didnt transplant .

I was told that if you grow a plant in a 1gal pot, the pot size will restrict the size of the plant without ill effects.. They're wrong?

I currently have 4 - 2week old plants in 1gal pots, and I planned on keeping 1 of them in the 1gal pot until I harvest it.... guess thats not a good idea?

I would tell you not a good idea , why would you risk effecting your plants yield and quality by not providing enough space for the roots to develope fully these are the life blood of your plants .
