Effective use of LED's?

Hey, as anyone out there made use of the high power and efficient LED grow lights on the market, such as those produced by Sunshine-Systems? I'm curious as to whether or not they are equivalent or superior to HPS, MH, and CFL lights, in all aspects of use from life, to output, to strength and any other comparison that could be made between the different types.

Thanks very much.

I have the sunshine systems 45 watt panel and it's good, but I honestly don't think it is capable of delivering the amount of output that they claim it gives. I think they said it was the equivalent of 400 mh. I don't think so. The only way you could get that is if you put the panel right on top of the plants. but the closer to the plants you get, the less area it covers. So i'm stuck with the panel and one cfl on either side to cover a 19"wx 39"Lx62"H space. I have a conversion ballast and a 400 watt mh, but I'm going to try the LED along with the cfl's until they stop producing. I have them roughly six to seven inches from the tops.

what kind of light spectrum does it put out? can you switch the lights around so you have more blue spectrum for veging and then add more red for flowering? i see there's a lot of research on it, just seems like you can target to specific light spectrums that plants need.
