Education?

I was just wondering how many people here are educated and at what level?

I'm pursuing a bachelors degree in environmental science and i love to smoke and think it is relaxing. I'm tired of these stereotypes, I work and am getting an education. So I just wanted to see where people stand.

Congratulations hokie. I was going to do an Environmental Science degree in '98 (should have), but I got sidetracked and did an Information Technology degree instead. If I was you I'd go for it, even if just for the experience.

I have a school and life education.
Schooled until I was 15.
Worked in a multitude of different jobs that were fun and did some things that I wanted to do (long story)
At 35, started an IT Degree.
Started a computer business and worked at the same university I studied at.
Realised in 2004 that I had put my life on hold to have a 'career'.
Now I'm trying to start living again. My fortunes are up and down like a roller coaster and we have been VERY poor (homeless), but we know we are living and are on a path to living the life we want to live (see the 9 to 5 thread).

I think it's cool that your trying to live the life that you want to live; not the life society thinks you should live (i.e. career). I wish you luck and hope that you are successful in anything that you do.

I'm going to school for a degree in political science but I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do exactly. I figured that a degree in political science could open up the doors to a couple of fields; law school, med school, government jobs, others. but overall, I'd like to dedicate my life to helping people and making a real difference in this country and this world. I also want to make a good annual salary, though. I'm still searching and hopefully the answers will fall into place. most of the time I'm questioning if I even want to live the life that society expects me to live. I've been in a structured world all of my life and I'm starting to see that it will never stop. I'll spend all of my money on college and then start a career...working everyday. but that's why I'm into law or medical research. I really did want to be a lawyer but idk how the job field will be when I graduate, but a doctor of someone with medical experience will always be needed and always have a job.

education is for l0z3rs

I'm fairly sure without the education people could not cultivate the way we do... Ever feed your ladies nutes? I'm sure the stuff is just on the ground somewhere... There is no way an educated person could have developed such a product. If you are to dumb to understand the term "Education" maybe you should just look at another thread? I wasn't looking for just a formal education in response... dip shits... i'll tell you...

I could get carried away and discuss my disgust at the way the Australian school system has taught my children over the past 20 years, but I won't hijack this thread subject.

I reckon good on ya. I didn't start my degree until 20 years after I left high school. I had too much more to do (as far as my head was concerned) to worry about further education.
In the end, we have to do what will make us happy, else we'll end up spending years doing things because we don't want to disappoint others and their expectations of us.

not only did that not make sense, you came across as a retard who has no sense of humor.

education without humor is like sex with a gapped tooth whore :hump:

I didn't get too far past high school. I have 13 credits from when I took online classes. But after the m/fer stole my computers I had to quit taking classes. hu, has 2 comp jacked and it costs me $1300 (had to pay for classes since I couldn't finish them without comp to get a passing grade). I haven't had a chance to go back. Still owe that 1300!

Always dreamed about going to college. When I was falling asleep in high school.bongsmilie
I thought going to uni would be great! I'd pick up chicks and have great fun. Problem is I went too late and became the kindly father figure instead!
