For Herbert Arnold it's definitely not interchangeable gas.... For the GTT's apparently you CAN run natural gas, so I am corrected =) They said the natural gas lines to homes is usually 1/2psi and you want 2-3psi of natural gas (vs 6-10psi for propane) so you have to figure out a way around that.

If your making glass pipes or shit to smoke from you want one of two manufacturers of torches: GTT or Herbert-Arnold. For $200 less than the widow you an get the GTT Phantom brand new! And its a waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better torch. I sold my red max to a local friend who is getting started. Same guy that bought my Kiln. The red max had a L marver from MGA, it was "OK", not really great graphite. The Mirage has a $160 blast shield marver and its very very much nicer. Graphite is super stable and smooth (quality varies on graphite!) and the machining is top notch. Blast Shield for most all my tools now (theblastshield.com)

I sold my red max to a local friend who is getting started. Same guy that bought my Kiln. The red max had a L marver from MGA, it was "OK", not really great graphite. The Mirage has a $160 blast shield marver and its very very much nicer. Graphite is super stable and smooth (quality varies on graphite!) and the machining is top notch. Blast Shield for most all my tools now (theblastshield.com)
