your oxygen concentrator and compressor were FREE? :)

i want one.
No no no silly......... Lets say I pay $1000 for the entire homefill setup and it lasts 3 years. At filling 5 tanks a week which is what it does now for me, that saves me 2 trips to the oxy store each week, saving $4.88 in gas each trip. That saves me $761 in gas over 3 years, plus a number of chicken sandwich lunches.

So I guess the homefill is free. :)

i always thought one could use natural gas instead of propane. i know i've heard of people who do. i think the problem might be that there's not enough pressure in your typical house lines. i don't think the torch needs to be changed in any way. i could be wrong.
For Herbert Arnold it's definitely not interchangeable gas.... For the GTT's apparently you CAN run natural gas, so I am corrected =) They said the natural gas lines to homes is usually 1/2psi and you want 2-3psi of natural gas (vs 6-10psi for propane) so you have to figure out a way around that.

For $20, just BBQ tank it and get it over with lol

1.) Invacare Homefill

2.) Invacare Platinum XL Oxygen Concentrator

Both you have to scour craigslist and eBay for. :( New it will be like $5000! Homefill $400-$800, Platinum $250-$350 ish............

It's a greatly overpriced piece of shit. :) If your making glass pipes or shit to smoke from you want one of two manufacturers of torches: GTT or Herbert-Arnold. For $200 less than the widow you an get the GTT Phantom brand new! And its a waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better torch. :)

And nice new avatar, but a horrible bruce willis movie. :)

Kitty + Do you still have that L graphite Marger for on top of Red Max?
I sold my red max to a local friend who is getting started. Same guy that bought my Kiln. The red max had a L marver from MGA, it was "OK", not really great graphite. The Mirage has a $160 blast shield marver and its very very much nicer. Graphite is super stable and smooth (quality varies on graphite!) and the machining is top notch. Blast Shield for most all my tools now (theblastshield.com)

Yeah. I buy my shit from them already. Just wasn't wanting to drop 100$ on it. I want a new torch soon so upgrading this seems stupid. The red Max is just harder to controll. Figure if I can do it on that hunk of junk I should do great on my next torch.

Hey dank just saw this in your other post "UV glue allows you to encased anything you want in glass. "Didnt wanna hijack your thread so i decided to post it on here.
Would you be able to elaborate a little bit more on this sounds extremely interesting. Do you make a mold with the item inside it then attach it to the glass piece? Or
you talking about a different way?

Thank ya wasn't gonna buy it i like how the GTT torches look the most so already sold on those hehe. Overall im pretty new to the field so have tons of question ;)
Im gonna go with the GTT Lynx then upgrade to the Mirage. From my understand the Lynx is a great all around torch, as long as you're not doing any bigger pieces.

I agree a very bad Bruce Willis movie. But still a great line :-D and it fit oh so perfect on here in some scenarios hehe.

figure by the time someone learns it off me ill be above and beyond by then.. im sure there is somewhere. its simple to encase it, its not having bubbles that make it hard.. the no glue way is just being real carefull and building the spot for it at least an inch from where you have to reheat.

Ahh when i wrote that i was thinking "hmm i wonder if this might be a secret technique" and i didn't wanna offend anyone.
But then figured with google, youtube and the other hundredth other social networking opportunities. Its cant be to much of a secret since most people got loose lips :-D
That would be awesome tho if you made a demonstration. Always down to learn something new.
Do you have a stickam account?
