Thanks for the reply mate. I've been waiting to find out so I could go feed the girls ahaha.Yes correct....i would keep it lower, easier to adjust and less is more....i keep [email protected] or under, but i feed every time....DTW
I've been growing in coco, since the day it hit the scene. This is how I do it, with all strains/phenos, and I run a lotI just started growing in coco and the guy at the shop told me to have my ec at 1.2 but subtract the ec of my tap water which is 0.4 so on my truncheon that would be 1.6 altogether. Is this correct.
Thanks.
Sound mate, really appreciate that advice. Will do it to those exact instructions! So if my water 0.4 has plenty of cal in it does that make it hard or soft water?I've been growing in coco, since the day it hit the scene. This is how I do it, with all strains/phenos, and I run a lot
I end up @1.6-1.8EC max.
With my current starting water, here is what my girls get, after working my way up to it of course:
.1EC starting water
.3-.4EC of calmag
1.2-1.3 of base nutes
So, a total of 1.6-1.8 EC.
Make sure and water with enough nutrient solution EVERY time, to achieve roughly around 20% runoff. Check Run-off EC with meter, to dial in.
Then, when i'm about 2 weeks from chop time, I start reducing the EC. Again, the run-off will guide you
I grew for years with a starting water of around .4EC
I would still end up around 1.7EC, but did not need additional Ca or Mg, as there was plenty in my water to begin with
Is it essential to water them that much? I was thinking just throw a shit load of water in each day and that would be ok ahaha.^ Good info something also important is obviously get a root system going with a week or two of wet dry cycles but after that water that B 3 times a day min... My two cents. That's full hydro
Are you talking soil? As in organics? If so, I dunno. I've never mastered organics(indoors)Sound mate, really appreciate that advice. Will do it to those exact instructions! So if my water 0.4 has plenty of cal in it does that make it hard or soft water?
Also can I expect my yields to be better than soil? I usually get around 50oz from nine plants so was hoping the extra effort would atleast put another 10-20oz on top of that.
Thanks again.
growing trees, I let the pots dry a lil bit. Everyother day kinda thing. You don't want them to dry out as much, like you would with other soiless, such as promix. Or like you would with soil.Is it essential to water them that much? I was thinking just throw a shit load of water in each day and that would be ok ahaha.
Thanks.
I was growing in Canna Terra Professional for like 3 years. I had problems all the time such as leaves yellowing too early and all other problems. Some grows I'd have no problems at all but then others I was just bombarded with them. Are you talking soil? As in organics? If so, I dunno. I've never mastered organics(indoors)
If your talking other soil-LESS, like a peat based mix, Yes. I can yield just as much, growing trees in both.
My problem with growing trees in a peat based mix, is ph problems later in flower. A top dress of dolomite can fix, but pain in my butthole.
Now, if you were to grow 16 in 1gal pots, in a 4X4 tray under a 1000w: i would put a basket drip stake(like pickpocket showed)in each pot, and feed a few times a light cycle. IMO, a peat based dirt, will not come close to touching the bad-assness of that setup.
A lot of people round my way use autopots and get 24oz off 2 plants under a 400.If you get 50 zips from 3-400w's, I wouldn't change a thing! Lol
That is pretty ideal!
I have been growing for a long time, and have never pulled that kind of yield...i would not change a thing either...If you get 50 zips from 3-400w's, I wouldn't change a thing! Lol
That is pretty ideal!
