GOING HYDRO FINALLY. AND WANT SOG
Hey guys. I am on my second harvest coming up using coco/soil mix in pots on an old rug feeding by hand.
I have chosen to either build or buy a setup. My space is 2'X4'X4.5'. Currently using a 400 HPS for this flower only room. I am trying to maximizes my yields with the space that I have and expand later.
I also have a clone/veg room but its out in the open using a GrowBright 2 Foot 8 Lamp High Output T5 with all Veg bulbs. I have the flower bulbs too and will soon mix them in.
I found a tray that is and exact fit.
24" x 44" Flood Tray (white) | Trays
Now from my researching, I need a res of about 20 gallons. I might have not done the math right, but here it is...
((2X12)X(4X12)X4)X.0043=19.81 gallons
But the res I found on Hydroponics | Hydroponic Supplies as in this one
20 Gallon Multi-Res Bottom | Reservoirs
Measures 20" x 26" x 12" and the tray is 24"X44" so IM not sure how they will stack. Can anyone help me size the parts up?
Also was thinking about getting a 600W and possible down the road getting the auto light rail for larger harvests. And if I get the 600 will most likely add a cool tube reflector, and replace my 4" inline with a six.
Currently have a 4"inline bringing fresh air from out side, and another on the top connected to the 400 and y splitter to the other upper area to suck out the hot air. I need some advice on improving my setup, for my new beans. I want the best for them.
Anyways, lets just start out with this, here is a current pic of my flower room and what I am working with.
I forgot to mention, since currently growing on ground, the ebb and flow will stack up higher, and I have a height of 4.5 feet. So I want to replace my 400 with bulb and socket and cool relfector. Should give me a few more inches higher then the all in one 400w unit.
