Ebb and Grow/Flood and Drain without commercial controller

Show off your creation and explain how it works. It seems these $250 controllers are BS considering you can buy $30 pumps, some timers and do math.



I'm personally kicking around a few ideas but I've got to step over the edge and actually commit to spending money on supplies and flooding my floor a few times.

I hope to see some cool systems.

I found the answer to be gravity. I use milk crates to put my buckets up on and pump water up to the net pots then let it drain back to my rez.

I just bought a lil ebb and flow and put in closet. Working on tryn to keep it humid enough.

I never even thought about a controller... I used a pump and a timer, flood the table 2x a day and they grow!
