Ebb and flow

I'm currently planning a new grow op and decided to go hydro after 3 successful soil grows. This is what I'm planning on doing; 4x8 flood table, 3x600w HID lights (air-cool), sea of green method and I'm going to be using water from the tap that will be sitting for 24hrs with air stones before use. Im planning on using coco coir but this is where I hit the bump in the road. Which pots are best suited for this type of growing medium and also what size? I'm guessing 1 gallons but is that adequate enough for a 2 week veg from clone and an 8 week flower schedule and would anyone recommend adding perlite to the mix? Also, since my growing medium would be coco coir and as I understand it retains moisture well, how many times per day would you guys recommend flooding the table in veg and flower & for how long?
Temps:75-77F
RH:40% for veg and flower

1-2 gallon containers are fine for you.
flood flowering tables 3 times daily and once a couple hours before lights on.
flood tray until nutrients return in your over flow. mine were about 3 minutes, depending on pump size
you 'd do so much better using hydroton rocks over coco imo

Do I fill the entire 1-2 gallon pot with hydroton?

not to the top but yes pretty full. the flood water will only need to come up a couple inches and the rocks will do the rest.
Cup some res water from the top when you put them in first time you'll see roots real soon. put some air, then more air in your res, get some sm90 and some zone for it also. this is exactly what I settled on as the very best hydro system for me. I loved it, hated the 7 res changes, the humidity, the dirty trays, scummy res tanks, and the cost, but goshdammit she was a beauty in motion and produced near trouble free produce. i hope you got the love for yours too

i agree. i'd go with anything hydroton, growstones, marbles over coco in ebb/flo

is DM Zone available? it's been hard to find for the last few years. i switched to hth pool shock instead

that is exactly what i found about it: chlorine and copper. something about the copper is like a disinfectant that kinda cleans the roots so the chlorine can be uptaken/uptook? easier. it worked awesome for me. max dose, high res temps all was fine.

Could you state your exact times that you would flood the table on a standard day?

that up to you. there are no rules. use common sense, like in the morning of course, mid day when its prolly warmer, before lights out....there is no danger of rocks drying out in a day.
so- lights on at 8 am=cycle, again at noon, maybe again at 3 and again at lights out. maybe once at night, around 2 am.

This question is for anyone. Is having plants in different stages of flowering possible on the same table?
yes, to a point. I found I needed several reservoirs in flower to manage my perpetual flowering cycles. you can move the plants to their desired ppm's, thats what I did typically by age. after flower initiation your plant will continue to need nitrogen for example whle you wont want that nitrogen in your finishing plant reservoir
