Ok, im almost getting started with my first Hydro grow.
I've got a flood table, and my medium.(hydroton or play pebbles)
Now i have 4 different ideas for my ebb and flow system.
I would like to hear your opinions on this one, i think system A or B is prefferable.

Also, should i use netpots? or go with normal pot?ebb and flow.png

I hate clay pebbles
Messy, I still find them laying around now and again and always needing watered
I would recommend a fibre grow mat instead

A, but with big square pots that will touch each other
this way light do not heat lower parts of your pots where roots grow

Ok, my plan was to cover alle of the table with black en White folie, the make holes in it and Palace netpots, do roots kan grow under the cover.
Alsof should keep the humidity under the cover higher.

Alsof,if i use regular pots, wil three flow enough water in the pot?

I tried to run a flood table with panda film for a cover and used one of the 5 gallon bucket net pot lids that way there was no possible way for light to get to the roots and it worked great but I did find that the root chamber was very humid and can cause root issues because I had my cover strapped down so it was like a big humidity dome over the roots. I went back to just hydroton filled tables with plant right in hydroton. If running a covered table what is best method to not create a humid root zone?
