i guess i mean like in a sog in an ebb n flow what do i do if the root out grows the pots and start to grow together. what to do about rearanging pots or will the tangle alone hurt the plants or to i put clay pebbles over them or what

well normaly if they are in a flood tray they arent in pots. If they grow together it is fine as long as you have already remove the males. Check out some threads on bubbleponics, all of their roots grow together. Maybe im not understanding your question correctly???

Growing together is fine if you dont plan on moving the plants around. I use a 3x3 flood table and 12 clones and after the grow my root ball is a 3x3 square.

Thanx dirtfree. you are answering my questions. I am not growing yet but from my understanding in an ebb n flow you can place your rw in net pots with hydroton so i was trying to get an idea of what size pots to use cause im not trying to transfer. thanx for taking the time to anwers my stupid questions

thanx bleezy. I seen something about root bound or something refering to the roots not being able to grow any more due to pots. I think i read it in an article about dirt growing. It said thats why you need to transfer to bigger pots. thats what really made me wonder if this would be a problem with the ebb n flow

you dont even need net pots. Just fill your tray with hydroton and add your plants and cover them over. Roots dont want to grow in the light.

I am using turbogarden pots. So far I am likeing being able to move the plants around. I am also surprised at how much bud I got in a turbogarden squre pot.

I wana try bigger pots or s i get into cloning better a full tray with pebbles. As I still get set up I need pots. Rw is my medium, I got aabout 30 4 in blocks left. I wish i could fill the tray, lol, but plant numbers is still not my game.

i also was thinking about pots because i can move the plant around if needed so this takes me back to my first question or maybe a different question. what about the roots growing out of the pots and should i just get big pots or what . trying a sog and not trying to let my plants get too big any way but i wanted to know if the roots could be a problem
