easyryder auto attic grow possible problems developing

Does anyone have any suggestions as to why my easyryder have begun to curl the odd leaf tip and why new leaf tips are light green/yellow?they are growing rigourously and are approx 1.5ft in height.Have only started feeding them biobizz bloom at 2ml per ltr of water with a ph of 6.5-6.9 as I iniatlly thought it may be a deficiency but i always thought leaf curl was due to over feeding?how can they be over fed if all i have been feeding them is straight phd water?I have never grown an auto flower before although i have grown many various strains previously.i have a few pics but they dont show much as hps was on will get some better up soon please help!!!!

well, Ive read that the easyryders dont react well to added nutes, I know that I added some pro-grow(1/2 strength) and one of them has almost tiger striped leaves right now, the other one iis fine, this happened before you added the bio-bloom or after? Ive flushed the soil and am going to just use plain water the next couple , the one looks a little better today... cant really tell from your pictures how they look though

hi man thanx 4 reply sry i will get more pics up to show u id never photod my grow b4!i added biobloom half strnght as soon as i noticed the yellowing as i iniatally though it might be suffering a deficiency.they are at week 5 1/2 now and the new growth is finally looking nice and green.flowers are progressing nicely but some of them seem to be a lot taller than i thought they would be?maybe due to less light where they are sitauted.i am using half strenght biobloom and half strenght topmax and using plain phd water every other feed.i tell you what man they are smellllllly girls lol!!do you continue to add nutes to week8 then flush 2weeks?i was told they only take around 10 weeks?

Looks like a light nute burn. I wouldn't sweat it, the majority of the leaves look A.O.K.

I've never grown them before mine ar at about 30 days and the tallest is only 1 foot, though it grew like 5 inches in the last week, no smell to mine yet, Ive wuit feeding mine till the yellow goes away

I'm actually growing some Easy Ryders right now. Excellent strain. They are 8 weeks old and I only fed them 3 or 4 times with 1/2 strength nutes. Once about 3 weeks in with grow nutes and then a few times after with bloom nutes. They don't need much.

Since you are growing so many, have you noticed 2 different phenos? I'm growing 3, and two of them look awesome. Nice sized top cola with a good bit of branching. They look like any other plant but smaller. The other one is smaller, really dark leaves that are really thick. Tiny cola and almost no branching. Not much bud on it either, but the leaves are pure white with resin.

thanx 4 all comments they r lookin lot better now but some still a bit freaky imo im findin it hard to find the right nute balance for them.some of them lookin a lot better than others.sonar ur so right about different phenos some of mine are as tall as regular strains and some lovely branching developing whereas some smaller ones are developing a lot quicker?hav u any pics dude?how long do u think is left till urs r ready?any idea about yield with my setup?

My most recent pics are about two weeks old, maybe longer. I cut one a few days ago a little early. Drying now and probably looking at about a half oz when it's all said and done. Little under what I was expecting. I was hoping for about 2 oz between the 3, but unless the other 2 put on some serious mass here in the home stretch I dunno if it's going to happen. Tried a little last night and the smoke is still a little rought, but potent though. EXTREMELY minty smell to it. Don't think I ever smelled weed that was so minty. Here they are anyway. Forgot to mention these are outdoors. Good luck and keep me posted. I like to see when other people are growing the same strain so I can compare. I wouldn't recommend picking early like I did. Put on most of their mass in the last week.

hey man they are stunning plants!,didnt realise how nice they could be outdoors!!when is best month to begin outside?i only tried outdoors once(ireland)we unfortunately dont get enough light and i was tortured with bugs but yours look clean as a whistle,must give it a go next year maybe greenhouse?i cant wait to c how they turn out so ill keep updating pics etc let me know how it smokes once bit drier etc iv never smoked any auto before lookin forward 2it

Thanks a lot man. I'm pleased with the results so far. I'm not really familiar with the climate of Ireland, but here in the NE United States I put my plants out the 2nd week of May. Not so much because of the weather (although a mild frost is still possible here at that time), but because the days are still pretty short and the plants might try to flower. I started from seed in mid April indoors under lights so they had a little mass to them to increase the chance of survival. Putting out fresh seedlings is possible I guess, but they are extremely vulnerable to predators and pests. Putting them out later in May or even in June is fine. They just won't get as big.

Autoflowers are a little different. I did 2 seperate batches of autos this summer. Same as with regular plants, I started them indoors, but I moved them outside once they showed sex at about 3-4 weeks old. I would imagine the best months for them are June, July and August, but you can do them anytime after the last frost in the spring up until the first frost in the fall. Since you want the most light possible, June, July, and August have longer day, so I would imagine they are prime time for autos.

As for bugs, I find it essential to use some sort of spray. Some people insist on neem oil and other organic sprays, but I'm not too concerned with being "all organic." I use Safer 3 in 1 insect spray and I used Ortho Ecosense 3 in 1 Rose Formula. Both worked really well for me. I don't think anything is going to stop them completely, but gives them a little relieve and some time to outgrow any bug damage. I'm guessing growing outside in Northern Europe is quite difficult with the shorter seasons, so autos might be your best bet. When are the typical last frost (spring) and first frost (fall) dates where you are at?

Oh BTW the auto smoke is great man. The yield might be a little small, but I do see much difference between that and regular plants. Not saying it is medical grade, but you probably wouldn't know it came from an auto unless I told you. I think the quality from the first line of autos that came out were sub-par, which led to a lot of myths about the smoke being lousy. Autos certainly came a long way and definitely found their place in my outdoor gardens for years to come. Not sure if I'd ever grow them indoors though. I think they show their true potential outside where you can't control the light cycle.
