hey guys. just got set up on my first grow. this one is a little bit of an experiment as i plan to grow more at a different location provided i have success on this go. here is what i am working with:

one fem lowryder #2 and two fem easy ryders
3 two gallon pots w/ small water collection trays
4 soft white 100 watt cfls (26w cfl usage) @ 1750 lumens each in clip on reflectors
small fan for air circulation
2/3 mix standard potting soil
1/3 mix miracle grow organic soil
green light root stimulator and starter solution
miracle grow bloom nutes
plan to use the 20/4 light cycle

ok, here is where i get really unsure about the correct procedures...
1. how often and when should i water?
2. should i start the root stimulator as soon as i get the seeds in soil? how often should i use it and when should i stop?
3. at what point do i need to start using the nutrients and how much? how often?
4. how often should i flush the plants?
5. am i working with enough light??

and of course any additional pointers are greatly appreciated!!

peace and gratitude!

plants are doing alright...at about two inches in two days. the stems seem a little long - is there a way to keep them shorter?? i have 6 100w cfls right on top of the plants running at a 19/5 cycle and giving them just a tad bit of root stimulator every other day. i decided to do away with the miracle grow and ordered the fox farm bloom booster. don't plan to use it however until the plants are at least 3 weeks old. bought a ph tester which should arrive in the next couple of days.

am i doing things alright guys?? also, is there any down and dirty ways to +/- the ph??

with much thanks for any and all thoughts!

u can put them about a inch or to from the plants.as long as it dont burn ur hand then it wont hurt the plants.
